Six Degrees Of Nicolas Cage

The stars of two of the biggest films this holiday season launched their legendary careers over a board game.

While playing Monopoly, Nicolas Cage suggested to then guitar player Johnny Depp that he try acting.

“There was something about him I thought was quite funny,” Cage told the John Jay & Rich morning radio show. “So I introduced him to my agent.”

The very next day Depp landed his first acing role in Nightmare on Elm Street.. even Cage admits in Hollywood “That doesn’t happen,” and that Depp is “probably the most lucky person I have ever met.”
