And he doesn’t think anyone else should be either.
Last night, Adam Lambert took to his Twitter to comment on what we assume must’ve been his first viewing of an episode of Teen Mom.
Needless to say, he was not amused. First, he tweeted out this message to his followers:
This Teen Mom show on MTV is so depressing. I know it’s “real life” but shouldn’t there be programming that inspires kids to shoot higher? #glorifyingwhitetrash
Now, we couldn’t agree more with him – we’ve always said that this show sends a wrong message to kids – but a number of his followers gave him some backlash about his hashtag. So, Glambert had to follow up his comment with
If we felt like these girls were taking this opportunity to better themselves and their little families, then maybe we could get behind this show. As it stands, all we’ve ever seen is the worst of the worst. (And now that we know how much they get paid, we don’t see how that is possible!)
