Scissor Sisters lead singer Jake Shears and his long-term boyfriend are engaged.

Shear’s boyfriend is named Chris, and he’s a Yale art student. Chris has so far kept out of the public eye by refusing to be photographed with Jake or revealing his surname in interviews. The pair have just moved in together to a ritzy apartment in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood.
The wedding is expected to take place in New York in Spring of 2008.
