I feel very sorry for her and wish her the best of luck. I always will watch her movies, no matter what is going on with her personal life. She is a great actress and fun to watch. If everyone else had cameras on them at 21 all the time, then none of us would have ever done half the things we did. No, we should never drink and drive, but let her be 21 and have a good time with it!!! I would love to be 21 again and party like I did! Firstly, I'm not a fan of LLo but we all know that the media makes and breaks you in this industry. It's the media that makes takes you from being a star to a superstar. So, her career will depend greatly on her relevance in the media and right now….they can't get enough of Lindsey.
She could turn out to be a child actor who was wasted to drugs or she could turn out like Drew Berrymore, who was a child actor, had issues with drugs and her career nearly eneded, and then cleaned up her act and rebounded as a successful actress again. Only time will tell. Lindsey's movies are mostly awful but there is something about her acting…there is some sparkle and talent in there.

Hmm, well, she hasn't had any real hits since Mean Girls. But I do think that she's a decent actress. Sadly, she's so young and dumb (plus her parents are leaches and have their own agendas) that she fell for her own hype, and failed to realize that SHE is the bread-winner in her family, and that if she fails, she doesn't have a rich family to fall back on like Paris, Nicole, and the rest of them.

But to Gossip Fan that has also left a few comments, yes, the first Parent Trap is a classic, I grew up watching it, I also grew up watching the original Father of the Bride, Planet of the Apes, King Kong, Cape Fear and the list could go on. The fact is that we watch the remakes now, and the original is always better because that is how the story was supposed to be, times change so our classic movies need to be adjusted into our times as well. But do YOU "gossip fan" put your children in front of the old movies? or the remakes? or do you have NO kids? My guess would be that you do not have kids at all. I find it so sad that James Robinson believes, or says he believes Lohan to be one of the most talented young actresses around. I am an actress (not an ingenue), and a director, and I have been living and working in this town for over twenty years. The man is clueless. Or, he is a liar, meaning, his statement was merely a pr spin, aimed at taking care of his own interests somewhere down the line. Anyway, yes, I would say that 80 per cent of the ingenue actresses in class and auditioning in Los Angeles do not know what they are doing. Ten per cent have molded themselves into clone-like tv and film-ready personas. And the another five to eight percent genuinely inhabit the intuition and spirit, and commitment to professionalism of an artist. There are ZILLIONS of actresses out here, so, five to eight percent is actually quite a lot. But these women may not have agents. They may not have reels. They may have chosen against physical augmentation. They may have been frightened by SAG into joining before they need to, so they lack the chops. They might be too broke to pay for headshots.
A really good director knows how to get a gem of a performance out of a decent actor. Lohan is probably a decent actor, but believe me, from one who can pull twenty names out of my address book RIGHT NOW to replace her, Robinson and others like him are idiots to invest more time and money in her until she proves ready. JesusGod, don't give HER another chance, give it to someone else! I would love to see A. Hannigan replace her in the S. MacLaine film. Just a thought. Amanda Bynes Arrested In New York City AND Taken To Psychiatric Hospital!!!!!!

Amanda Bynes had a run-in with the popo in the NYC on Thursday night, which resulted in her arrest AND subsequent taking to a psychiatric hospital!

Police showed up at the former child star's midtown apartment after receiving reports of a disorderly person. And that's when shit got crazy!

When the NYPD arrived at Bynes' pad on West 47th, street she threw a bong out the window, who know cuz it probably had crack "incense" in it and she didn't want law enforcement to find it.

Twitter-loving Amanda was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.

After her arrest, Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and then transferred to a Midtown police station to be processed.

Hopefully they send her BACK to the hospital and put her on a psychiatric hold!
