Why even talk about their so called "vows" to remain virgins until marriage, we already know how that went when one of them was dating Miley Cyrus. They have the maturity level of an eight year old. It's trolling - duh. Audience figures for the VMAs were up 15% on 2007, 70% on 2006, in the 12-34 demographic. All of the people getting annoyed about it are unwittingly promoting the person they hate. There's double the traffic on the MTV site than last year - due to butthurt fans. Russell Brand is an idiot - pure and simple. He attacked the easiest target out there. Three young men who mean the world to many young teen aged girls. They are attempting to set a good lead into a life where young people don't need to become physical with someone to justify their relationship, to justify who they are or to feel love. I think the Jonas Brothers are a great lead for young men and women. Now Russell Brand - he couldn't give it up. Its as if he had a personal vendetta against the Jonas Brothers. I would have loved to have seen him pick on Slip Knot, Lil Wayne or Kid Rock. Wonder if they would have dealt with his stupid, inappropriate British Humor.

I LOVE Russell Brand!! I've been watching his comedy gigs for a couple of years and I think he is hilarious. You should check out some of his interviews on youtube, he is extremely witty and has an impressive vocabulary. I agree that the VMAs were not his best performance, but don't write him off.
