Does the Academy Really Need a Reminder?

They’ve already squeezed out every Dark Knight penny out of us, but they still want more!

Warner Bros., the Batman studio, has announced that they’re re-releasing Dark Knight in theaters this January, the height of Academy Awards voting season.

A studio insider tells the Hollywood Reporter, “It’s just a matter of bringing it back as a reminder for people.”

Seriously?

We think people might need a rest from Dark Knight. Everyone’s been talking about it since the beginning of the year!

We’re guessing that Warner will be releasing the Dark Knight on DVD about then, too.

Have the suits ever heard the saying “you can have too much of a good thing”?

Unless….

They release the film with bonus, unseen footage.

Then, we’re all for it!
