Ellen DeGeneres' life partner joins the show for a few episodes this year. Richardson will have a fling with Portia after her character falls for the mother of a boob job patient, played by the former Ally McBeal star.
The pair's scenes so far are said to be so explicit that even crew members used to the series' frequent sexual story lines have been shocked.
An on set source said: "Portia's character is going to be involved in a torrid relationship with Joely's character over about 10 episodes. It's going to be shocking stuff. So far, the pair's sex scenes have been wild. Even the crew have been shocked by what they have seen."

Nip/Tuck just does things for shock value. Julia was screwing a little person, played by Peter Dinklage's last season. The son was having an affair with sex change patient, unbeknownst to him. The show hasn't been good since the second season.
THIS is one of the many reasons I don't watch television anymore. Just more and more trash. Next thing you know, producers will eventually have adults having sex with children on camera, and viewers will eventually accept it because hey, this type of "art" (female on female, male on male sex) has finally become viewably acceptable. At some time, one must draw the line at what is tasteful and let go of "The bottom line."
