Miley's Fan Club Cheats Its Members

Joining the Miley Cyrus fan club is sort of like an episode of Hannah Montana - you think you're getting one thing, and then it takes off its wig and it's something totally different!
Members will receive free extended membership after the fan club neglected to give them early access to concert tickets, as it advertised it would. Tickets didn't take long to sell out and we're sure many parents were left with the miserable task of consoling their hormonal tweenagers.
In a lawsuit filed against Interactive Media Marketing Inc. of Nashville, the company was required to pony up $20,000 in penalties, as well as post a notice on the Web site saying, "Purchase of a MileyWorld fan club membership does not guarantee access to tickets" in addition to the extended memberships.
Although with membership worth $29.95 a year, it really doesn't seem fair!
The moral of the story is: Dump Miley!

i dumped miley when i found out the site automatically renewed membership every year and charged the fee. i immediately got a refund and havent been back. my daughter stopped like miley way b4 miley began dating that old man….5 years her senior. my daughter is team demi lovato all day long.

Justin Timberlake has a problem with his "fan club" too. I bought a membership soley to get tickets first for his sexy back tour. After I did that, he cancelled the conert and I was minus 30 somthing bucks. That didn't go well with me. I was so disappointed. I held a grudge for a year!

Wow i love miley but alllllll of her fans could have tickets be at least a bit understanding she doesn't know the people who run her fan club
I joined the site just to get the code for the tickets and of course the tickets sold out within seconds but see those stupid parents who didn't write and complain to the site didn't get a chance for tickets. I wrote and complained that I wanted my $29.95 back and I told them I only joined the site to get access to tickets and 1 week before her show in Tampa the concert promoters emailed me with a chance for me to get 4 tickets at face book valve so I got the chance to bring my niece who wanted to go so bad. Tickets where for the floor 3 row 14 and I paid $70 for each ticket. I also wasn't the only person who were able to get those tickets if you complained then they emailed you a chance to get tickets so those parents who didn't complain oh well their loss, lol now they want to sue and Perez it's not MILEY'S FAULT quit picking on a teenager. Also I gotta say the show was great and the jonas brothers were great as well

one more thing! i know no ones care BUT i'm in digital media and marketing and i know exactly how these fan clubs, member sites work (sites of celebrities not in general) It's all a marketing plot to generate high traffic/ draw in fans in their website, so they (miley's peeps and herself) can eventually cash in. They don't really care about the fans. Of course they want the best support from fans but unless you recieve something first, DON"T sign on to fan clubs. COme on guys! Why do you think they have radio shows and competitions? Promote the artist and suck in fans/peeps and sometime for generousity but mostly is a marketing tool. :O How do you think newsletter, some magazines run? On printed/posted advertisment and fan club/members stuff!
