How sad!
Toni Braxton thought she had her butt covered when she bought “non-appearance and cancellation insurance” from Lloyd’s of London insurance prior to her residency at Sin City’s Flamingo Hotel in 2006.
As you may remember, Braxton had to cancel her stage show at the hotel because of heart problems.
Toni is now suing the insurance provider for an undisclosed amount!
Even though the singer had purchased the correct form of insurance, Lloyd’s of London claimed Braxton’s heart problems were due to a “pre-existing condition” and refused to pony up the $$$ to the hotel for their losses. She disagrees.
