After three years of screwing around and being the poster couple of downgrading, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have broken up.
We’re sure it’s just somewhat gratifying to her that that Nick Lachey’s life is going to shit, while ex-wife Jessica Simpson is about to rebound (just a little).
A rep fo Minnillo BlahNick has confirmed the couple have called it quits.
A source says that it was an “amicable” split, with both sides still wanting to remain “friends.” The source also explains: “They still care about each other very much. This is what’s best for both of them.”
But where do they go from here? We can’t see anyone else wanting to date them. Maybe they’ll separate and then get back together after they realize any careers they might have had fizzled out about the same time Nick started doing guest spots on One Tree Hill.
Oh well. Another Hollywood showmance over and done with.
