Nutty Professor To Hit Broadway, Original Star To Direct!

The legendary Jerry Lewis will be making his Broadway directorial debut with a musical adaptation of his 1963 film The Nutty Professor.

Produced by Loud Watch Productions, LLC., the production will feature music by Marvin Hamlisch and a book and lyrics by multiple Tony Award winner and Grammy Nominee Rupert Holmes.

Lewis co-wrote the original film and says that he “could not be happier” with the “hilarious and glorious adaptation.”

The show is looming at a 2010/2011 Broadway run.
