She leads the pack with 9 VMA nominations tying only with Beyonce for most nods!!!
Gaga's honors include Video of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for Poker Face whereas Paparazzi earned Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction!!!
The Lady speaks:

The only reason she got that many is because they've added a bunch of catagories. I've never heard of Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction on a MTV award show before.

Unfortunately alot of the categories are fan voted now so the britney freaks will vote thousands of times and she'll win even though her video's sucked this year. I'll be watching for the performances and hopefully an MJ tribute. Won't be watching for the awards.
