The men responsible for stealing a memory stick with pHOtos of Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton on vacation have been sentenced!
Charlie Ewins and Leon Sesay, who claimed to have found the memory stick “in a gutter”, were offered over $40,000 by UK tabloid The Sun for the snapshots in August of 2008.
When the dummies demanded double the $$$$$ for the pics from the Royals’ vacay on a Caribbean island, the folks at The Sun reported the thieves to the police!
Dumb, dumb, dumb.
“You are essentially fools for whom things have spiralled out of control,” stated the legal counsel during last week’s trial.
Both Ewins and Sesay have been slapped with 100 hours of community service each, as well as $200 in court fees.
Hey, at least they’re not going to jail!
