This wouldn’t be surprising!
Simon Cowell is reportedly starting his own dance show in the vein of So You Think You Can Dance.
Cowell currently produces America’s Got Talent and judges on both The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent in the UK.
He’s said to be partnering up with UK buddy Ian Burton, who once ran a record label with him and has experience managing dancers, to compete with So You Think You Can Dance and fellow British producer Nigel Lythgoe.
“It’s his own SYTYCD show. He is always trying to do his own thing to compete with the Idol team. Now he is trying to steal the SYTYCD thunder,” says a source.
That Simon is such an instigator!
Better watch out, Nigel! Sounds like he’s going to give you a run for your money!
Update: A rep for Cowell tells us he’s “not even thinking about” starting a dancing reality show in America. And we’re inclined to believe her.
