Khloe Kardashian and her soon-to-be husband Lamar Odom are said to be making bank on a deal made with a magazine vying for her wedding day shots. The deal is for $300,000!!!
Damn! That is a lot of money! TOO much for Khloe and that Laker!
Things kind of get juicy as there are reports that Khloe will be pocketing the money for herself.
We don't know if anyone has explained to you how marriage works, Khloe, but once you both are married, what's yours is his! Good luck trying to find a way around that!

I'm still very much an individual, and money that I make is MINE, I don't owe him nothing and neither does he owe me anything. In this case though he's involved in earning the money as well, so I think Khloe should split it. But I'm sure he's a lot richer already so maybe he's fine with the deal.

Actually it does just that in terms of your finances and tax status. On your wedding day amid all the wedding ceremony hoopla and wedded bliss talk you signed a document "Marriage Certificate". That document had the raised seal of your state and was eventually signed by the attorney general's office. Once official this document means you cease to be an individual and are now one half of a business partnership. In this partnership you share in all income and debts regardless of who's name there in. If your spouse came into the marriage with a house, you also own that house. If your spouse racks up $10, 000 in credit card debt then you equally owe that debt. Even if the card was never in your name! All this can be mitigated with a prenuptial agreement but must people are to stupid to set that up.
