Hugh Hefner Biopic Being Written By Diablo Cody?

Diablo Cody is an Oscar-winning screenwriter, with a background fairly suitable to handle such a project as the Hugh Hefner biopic.

But is she really doing it?

All we know, thanks to a little Tweet directly from Hef himself, is that he took a meeting with Diablo to discuss the “the Brian Grazer Playboy film”.

The film he is referring to is the buzzed about biopic that has everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to Robert Downey Jr. being pegged to play the master Playboy himself. Nothing solid has been said about the flick since 2007, when another writer was pegged to write the script. Two years is a long time and a lot has changed. Maybe Hef is looking for a quirky, female take on his life.

Wouldn’t that be interesting?!

Neither Diablo or Hef brought up the meeting again on their Twitters, so we’re still unsure what the meeting was about, but we really hope it is some good news for Diablo.
