Lindsay Lohan is hard up for cash!

The actress, who hasn't had a hit movie since Mean Girls, is reportedly close to being broke.

In the last year and a half, Lohan has spent….

- A MILLION dollars on bills from the Chateau Marmont Hotel, her former "drug den" and where she used to stay
- $137,000 in rehab costs as she's been in treatment three times these past nine months
- THOUSANDS more in legal fees after multiple DUI convictions
- Almost a million on bodyguards and chauffeurs
- Oodles of money on clothes
- "And the amount she has wasted putting cocaine up her nose is disgusting. Even she has lost count," says a friend of the star's

Things for Lindsay are reportedly so bad that she has had to sell both her New York and Los Angeles apartments because she needs cash.

Hopefully La Lohan will get her life together, make some more hit films and turn things around.
