YES! I watched when Laura Bush did a documentary tour….I think it's historically important to watch. Not as important as staying politically current of course, but it has a similar effect as seeing old family movies and photos.
The first African American President is historically significant, to think some of the decor that is used today came from a time when slaves worked the White House is an amazing fact and it would do us all some good to stop and recognize that and be proud as a nation we have come so far. I think the Obamas represent a loving, tight-knit, intellectual, and genuinely loving family. I think that with all the stress our country has to deal with (thanks to bush and his terrible economics), having a glimpse into a happy family's holiday celebration is uplifting and inspiring. Holidays are all about family, so I think this presidential documentary is a tradition we should keep alive!

I am not comfortable that the President that I voted for is hanging out with Oprah! He is not going to be treated seriously hanging out with Hollywood! I lost respect for Oprah years ago! Ironically, Christmas has very little to do with Christianity. You can thank various pagan beliefs for the date it's on and for common traditions (gift giving, trees, santa, etc.).

In any case, Christmas has also become a secular holiday in the past few decades.

I'd love to! I read about how the Obamas raise their children, and I really envy Malia and Sasha for being raised in such a supportive family. As a matter of fact, it's very hard to raise such confident and well-mannered kids, especially when you're one of the most busy man in the United States.
