Oprah Ordered To Court

Philly is going to be jammed with photogs next week!

This morning, a federal judge ordered Oprah Winfrey to appear in court and stand trail to defend herself in a defamation lawsuit filed by Nomvuyo Mzamane.

Nomvuyo was the former headmistress of Oprah’s South African school but was dismissed from her position when she was charged for abusing the students. Nomvuyo claims that the charges are faulty and occurred because the talk show host defamed her during a press conference back in 2007.

The judge ruled this morning that there is sufficient evidence to insist that Oprah appear in court. Therefore, Philadelphia will get a visit from Miz Oprah herself on March 29th.
