His Music Career May Be In The Shitter, But…

50wenn.jpg

At least his movie career is going strong!

50 Cent has been cast in a new a police corruption drama called Caught in the Crossfires.

Costars will include Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez and Richard T. Jones and the story will follow two homicide police officers caught in the middle of a war between dirty cops and gangs. Fiddy will play a gang member forced to be an informer.

Guess we should be calling him Curtis Jackson from now on.

The fast-talking, bulletproof rapper is gone!

Collaborate and Listen!

wenn5298543-501.jpg

Yes!!! We told you it might happen!

50 Cent and Bette Midler are seriously discussing doing a duet, albeit the craziest duet ever to be recorded.

Fiddy was quoted as saying: "Me and Bette collaborating would be really hot. But I'd need to make something new for her. For the right song, we'd definitely get together."

Bette added: "He is one of the newest members of our tribe. He has really made my life worth living. 50 has been with me through thick and thin. I really can't rap, but I'd like to sing in the background on 'Get Rich or Die Tryin'."

Add this to the list of crazy things you never thought were possible.

Loves it!

Bosom Buddies

Talk about an unlikely pairing!

50 Cent was one of the honored guests for Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project's 8th Annual Spring Picnic at the New Leaf Restaurant & Bar in NYC on Tuesday.

They seem pretty joined at the hip!

And Fiddy cleans up rather nice.

We bet she got to call him Curtis. Maybe they should do a song together?

50 Cent Lying, Not Cleared Of House Fire

wenn-50-not-innocent.jpg

Uh-oh, looks like 50 Cent was lying when he said he was cleared as a suspect in the fire that destroyed his Long Island mansion.

A statement from the rapper read, "The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party is found."

Detective Thomas Wieland of the Suffolk County police, however, debunked 50's claims and stated that the case is still open either way.

Sounds shady!

What gives 50?

Fiddy Is Innocent!

wenn52871502.jpg

As we mentioned almost a year ago, 50 Cent's home in Long Island, which was occupied by his crazy babymomma, Shaniqua Tompkins, burned down in a mysterious fire.

The fire was deemed "highly suspicious" and an investigation soon took place.

Rumors were spread (by his babymomma herself) that Fiddy was the one responsible for the fire.

50 was trying to get his ex evicted from the property just a few months earlier, so she tried to blame it on him.

The rapper, aka Curtis Jackson, has just been cleared by the New York Police from having any involvement in the fire that destroyed the home.

And he's definitely happy to be cleared of the crime. In fact his website even posted a message stating that :

"50 Cent has just been officially cleared of the house fire. The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party Shaniqua is found."

Let's hope they find out how that fire started.

Didn't know it could take a year to determine the cause!

50 Cent + Chace Crawford & Emma Roberts = WTF?

twelvecast.jpg

Chace Crawford, 50 Cent and Emma Roberts have all signed on to act in the upcoming Joel Schumacher film, Twelve!

The film, adapted from the Nick McDonell novel of the same name, will follow the story of a "high school dropout-turned drug dealer… [whose] lucrative life sours when the dealer's cousin is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground and his best friend is arrested for the crime."

Sounds intriguing!

The film which, also stars 24's Kiefer Sutherland and Emmy award-winning actress Ellen Barkin, will begin shooting later this month in New York.

P.S. Do y'all really wanna see Fiddy act???

We'd rather watch Chyna in another sex tape! Speaking of, that's coming….soon!

Eminem Is The Rain Man

rain_men.jpg

Hey look! It's Eminem as Pee Wee Herman!

Okay, not really. It looks like the rapper is actually paying homage to the film Rain Man in his upcoming music video for his brand new single "We Made You."

In the Academy award winning flick, Tom Cruise exploits Dustin Hoffman's autistic genius to win big in Vegas. Dressed in gray suits with white suits, Eminem, Dr Dre, and 50 Cent seem to be recreating a similar-looking scene in Rain Man.

Hope the gimmick proves successful!

We'll find out April 7th when the video hits airwaves!

Quote of the Day

50.jpg

"Puffy has the best model for staying relevant, because [he does it] without a song. He’s been able to maintain an interest and stay in a space to executive produce television and film projects, and stay relevant to hip-hop culture. What was the last record that made you feel like, ‘Oh, my God, Puffy is on fire’? You don’t need it. That’s what makes his business model exciting to me. There are only three of us to look at: Jay, [me] and Puff. [We have] three totally different situations. We’ve just been a part of hip-hop culture. That’s the similarity. I still think they’ll be relevant. I just think they’re like the fire hydrant: You can’t move those guys out of the street. I think they’ll [still] be the guys you need to connect with [to] get a shot."

- 50 Cent, giving Diddy a backhanded compliment, in the new issue of King magazine
