How awesome!

We're so glad that they're making this stop during their Mylo Xyloto touring -- Coldplay is going to headline the closing ceremonies of the London Paralympic Summer Games!

They call it the Festival of Flame.

Here's what Chris Martin had to say:

"Being asked to play at the closing celebrations for the Paralympic athletes in London is such a great honor for us. We are so happy to be involved. It will be one of the biggest nights of our lives and we're very excited to try to create a performance for the last night of the games that will close London 2012 in style."

Their excitement is contagious!

The show will be held at the Olympic Stadium attended by athletes with physical disabilities from around the globe.

Don't worry, though, because the rest of the world will get to see it too: it's being broadcasted to a worldwide audience of over 750 million! You're probably one of those!

It wasn't quite on the par of Coldplay's tribute, but it was still nice!

Check out Cee Lo Green's pretty standard rendition of Fight For Your Right (above) to honor Adam Yauch of The Beastie Boys.

As standard as it was, we still think MCA would approve!

Oh…and we LOVE the one-legged man breaking it down on the dance floor! Did that guy steal the show for anyone else, or was it just us?

LMFAO is quickly beginning to sweep the 2012 Billboard Music Awards!

The DJ two-some have already taken home the top 100 song for their Party Rock Anthem, and now, have beaten out The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Lady Antebellum, and Maroon 5 for the title of Top Duo/Group!

Ah-mazing!

And it's only all the more charming that they seem just as pleasantly surprised as we are during their acceptance speech!

Let's keep the wins coming, guys!

Coldplay and Rihanna teamed up a while back to shoot the music video for their single together off of the band's new album, Mylo Xyloto, and although we've seen footage of the pop star appear from the clip on their tour, new behind-the-scenes footage from the production shows some pretty awesome Samurai fight choreography between she and lead singer Chris Martin!

Cameron Diaz was recently spotted leaving Spagos restaurant in Beverly Hills joined by quirky celebrity couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

The triplicate were never photographed together ’cause Chris rushed to the car before any good snaps were taken, but the ladies with golden bleached locks took a good long stroll to the vehicle, getting in lots of papz face time…

And Cammy got to show off her ginormous blue suede shoesdesigner bag!

Such an adorable couple!

After enjoying the Coldplay concert Friday evening. Ryan Phillappe and his lover-lady Paulina Slagter ventured to artisanal chicken fast-food chain Koo Koo Roo Saturday lunchtime, to munch on some mouth-watering chickeny goodness!

The duo seemed to be coming down from a morning workout… not the healthiest lunch after a jog, but definitely one of the tastiest!!

Sometime you just gotta treat yo’ self.
