This is getting ridiculous.
While we totally LOVED Beyoncé's performance in the Super Bowl halftime show, some people were not fans of her message — in particular the homage the singer paid to the Black Panthers while performing Formation.
But one Detroit police sergeant sparked an internal investigation after comparing the performance to the Ku Klux Klan!
The sergeant shared a post on his Facebook that compared a photo of Bey's back up dancers — who many have speculated were styled to resemble the Black Panther Party in honor of the group's 50th anniversary — to the KKK:
But fear not, the Teenage Dream singer is staying busy as she's planning a black-tie dinner for musicians — but ONLY musicians!
The 31-year-old recently opened up to The New York Times not only about her Grammy party plans, but partnering up with Spotify, what she thought of Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime show and her new music!
