Kara DioGuardi Opens Up About Childhood Molestation

Life hasn’t always been bright lights and rockin’ music for Kara DioGuardi.

In her new memoir, A Helluva High Note, she opens up about being repeatedly molested when she was 11 by a family friend’s teenage son.

Wrote DioGuardi:

"On one particular day, he took me into the back shed of his house and put his hands all over my breasts and vagina. I remember freezing and not knowing what to do."

Kara also recounted a story about a time when she went for what she thought was a friendly dinner with a “fairly well-known producer” who then date-raped her.

"[W]ithin a few hours, he was on top of me, pumping, sweating, and speaking to me in Spanish, not a word of which I could understand."

Sadly, those aren’t the only devastating stories from her book.

It breaks out heart to hear these! Her ability to overcome them is amazing, and speaks volumes about her character!

Kara Dioguardi is full of shit surprises!

According to a source, Kara has been trying to leave American Idol for some time now.

"She went to Fox two months ago and told them she didn't want to do another season. She's ready to move on. She did two years and thinks that's enough."

PUHLEASE!! The source goes on to spew more bullshit talk about Kara’s “contractual obligations” to Fox, which apparently prevent her from taking meetings with other companies.

"It's frustrating because she can't even take any meetings…everyone wants to know what her schedule will be like, but she doesn't know. What happens if Fox tells her they still want her for next season?"

Um, we don’t buy this for a second. This is Kara planting stories and trying to cover up her embarrassing exit from Idol.

Stop trying to spin this, Kara! You lost this battle!

We don't blame 'em!

According to a survey, ad buyers were asked various questions about the upcoming season of American Idol, including who their favorite judge is and how many seasons they think the singing competition has.

Most of the participants said that Simon Cowell was their favorite judge and that they believe this next season should be their last.

Ouch!

Many of them even agreed with Fox's decision to get rid of judges Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi.

As predicted, ad buyers believe that AI's ratings will most likely fall dramatically now that Simon is out and producers are scrambling to find the right mix on the judges panel.

Here's an easy answer: PICK PEREZ!!

Kara DioGuardi Found Out She Was Fired From The Newspaper

| Filed under: American IdolKara DioGuardi

Ouch!

It seems Kara DioGuardi found out that she wasn't returning to American Idol by reading it in the paper. According to her father Joe DioGuardi, Fox gave her the silent treatment - and still is!

He said:

"Would you believe she did not hear — and still has not heard — anything? She read it the way you did and I did. Her disappointment is that that's the way she's being treated and she feels that's not proper. I think they're trying to create a lot of buzz … they're trying to reformat the thing. But Kara has a very deep career in music … she'll be fine. Would she want to do it another year? I think so … I think at some point [she] will confront them on that."

Real clASSy, Fox.

Don’t worry, Kara DioGuardi, you'll possibly find something else!

PerezHilton.com has confirmed that DioGuardi has been canned, and it also looks like the show will be reverting to its three judge format.

Sources say that if all goes according to plan, the judges will be Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler.

If they’re not going to contact us about one of those judge positions, at least we can find solace in the fact that DioGuardi is out of the picture as well.
