In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Goonies alum dished:

American Idol may be ending, but the music's not about to die any time soon.
We were pleasantly surprised when we heard that FOX was entering the live stage show world against NBC with their upcoming presentation of Grease: LIVE, but their second announced production had us a bit worried.
You see, the network just released that Victoria Justice, Laverne Cox, Ryan McCartan, Reeve Carney, and Staz Nair had been cast as the leads in this Fall's Rocky Horror Picture Show… only it won't be live.
RHPS will be the first of the recent musical reincarnations to be shot live-to-tape, but we're hoping the news that Adam Lambert has officially joined the cast will more make for it.
That's right! It was revealed on Thursday that the Idol alum will be making his return to FOX for Rocky Horror as
She ain't no Kelly Clarkson.
In news we never thought we'd have to report, the final season of American Idol kicks off tonight with the Denver and Atlanta auditions, which means there are only a few hours left to attract as many viewers as possible.
So in honor of the big night, Ryan Seacrest stopped by TODAY Wednesday morning to promote the premiere… but he may have accidentally started a feud instead!
That's because when he was asked which Idol winner was his favorite, he instantly picked Carrie Underwood.
While that's not so bad in itself, the real drama happened when he was given the opportunity to complement Kelly as well, but stuck with his original choice, saying:
The band was honored on Wednesday's 2015 CMT Artists of the Year event at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee!
Lambert and Lewis totally slayed — their voices sound GREAT together! Do we smell a future collab between the two?!

It's been a controversial 24 hours in pop music!
Well… maybe that's not so true after all! Today on Twitter, the Confident singer and her (almost) tour mate and Ghost Town artist hashed it out and patched it up for all the world to see:
This is definitely NOT cool for the summer!
We are told that the songstress and the Ghost Town artist already hashed out details such as lighting, billing, and most importantly, money!
However, Miz Lovato's manager had eyes on another pop star…
His own client Nick Jonas!
Insiders say her reps convinced her to swap out Lambert for the Levels hottie, and not surprisingly, Adam is FURIOUS!
According to a source close to the American Idol alum, the decision was
Adam Lambert had a busy week!
The Ghost Town singer was the runner up in the show's eighth season back in 2009, but has arguably had the better career over season winner Kris Allen!
So what did the 33-year-old have to say about the long running music competition's upcoming final season? He thinks "it's about time" the show comes to an end, explaining:
"It's great that there's talent that can be discovered via TV, on shows like Idol, The Voice and X Factor. [But] I think things are changing a little bit. Things like YouTube have now become a great way for people to launch their talent, as well. I think things might be shifting a little bit, so we'll see what the next phase is."
The next phase for Lambert is the release of his brand new album The Original High, which hit stores on Tuesday!
