In the world of celebrity by association, that douche is now officially on the Z list!
During the last few weeks, we've been seeing less and less of Britney's cousin/assistant, Alli Sims.
Why?
She's been edged out of the picture by this dude, Britney's new BFF.
Sources tell us that his name is Sam Lufti and he's shadily described as a "film producer."
Friends of the troubled pop star are starting to be concerned about the influence Lufti has over Spears and how he has it.
It was Sam that was with Britney on Monday, when she lost custody of her children. It was Sam that was with her at the DMV this week. And it was Sam that went out with Spears for a drive on Tuesday night (above).
Thankfully Britney has a brand new drivers license, so it's not illegal for her to be behind the wheel of a car.
Britney's "friend" Sam is already loving his new media attention. On Tuesday, he spoke to both People and Us Weekly on-the-record about Spears.
Yuk! Keep your mouth shut!
Sources tell us they think Lufti is leaking information about Spears and that he is the one that has masterminded her relationship with one shady paparazzi agency.
Isn't it nice to know Britney is in great hands????
Update: Sam Lufti is the same man that Kevin Federline's team was trying to subpoena last night. Processor Aaron Cohen was unable to serve him because Sam crashed his car into Aaron's and then spead away from the scene of the crime.
