No matter what, alleged victims have the right to remain anonymous…

As we reported on November 29, NBC News announced they terminated Matt Lauer for "inappropriate sexual behavior" regarding an alleged incident that began at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

To this day, the identity of Lauer's accuser has not been revealed… and that's exactly how she wants it.

On Friday, the alleged victim's lawyer Ari Wilkenfeld spoke to NBC News where he says his client is "terrified" she will be outed.

"My client is terrified, and she does live in constant fear that people are going to track her down and figure out who she is… She feels badly for the many other women who are suspected of being her—who are also being hounded and harassed."

When the unnamed woman made her claims to NBC, she wanted the company to "do the right thing," and to keep her identity confidential. However, Wilkenfeld says the network hasn't been doing a good job with the latter.

Every model's nightmare…

In a report published by the New York Daily News on Thursday, model Caron Bernstein is accusing infamous photographer Terry Richardson of rape during a 2003 photoshoot in New York.

After being introduced through a mutual friend, Bernstein — who appeared in the pages of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar — was reportedly told she was doing a shoot for a fragrance called "Sex" for an editorial layout in V Magazine.

Initially thinking "it was going to be a test shoot," the now-47-year-old was handed a pair of white panties, and was disallowed from powdering herself.

After yesterday's resignation news made it official, it appears that Al Franken's political career is over — but it turns out that the (now former) Senator from Minnesota appears to have predicted this years ago!! WTF?!

Back when the Saturday Night Live alum was a comedian — and YEARS away from his actual political career — he wrote a 1999 book titled Why Not Me in which he predicted the implosion of his (then fake) future political career due to a sex scandal not entirely unlike the one he's now seriously suffering.

On his coming demise over the then-fictional sex scandal, Franken wrote what it'd be like for him to be forced to apologize for his actions just 144 days into his fake presidential administration, set in the style of a diary entry in a book (below):
