Asia Argento Shares Personal Pic Of Anthony Bourdain Taken A Week Before His Suicide

Asia Argento is reflecting on happier times with Anthony Bourdain.

The Italian actress shared a new photo of herself with her late boyfriend on Thursday, taken just a little over a week before he died by suicide.

The pic (above), taken May 27, shows the two goofing off in a red convertible; Asia is behind the wheel while the Parts Unknown host smirks holding a green umbrella over them.

Asia captioned the snap with a profound poem from Dante's epic Divine Comedy, which translates to:

Anthony Bourdain's death was a shock to his many fans and closest loved ones.

But the signs may have been there all along…

John E. Richters, Ph.D. compiled some of Bourdain's own words that seem to show a pattern of a man on the edge of depression.

The quotes were pulled from a 2016 episode of Parts Unknown in which he said a bad hamburger could send him "into a spiral of depression that can last for days" all the way back to a quote from his 2000 memoir in which he wrote:

"I was utterly depressed… in bed all day, immobilized by guilt, fear, shame and regret… heart palpitations, terrors, bouts of self-loathing so powerful that only the thought of diving through my sixth-floor window onto Riverside Drive gave me any comfort and allowed me to lull myself into a resigned sleep."

Seeing it laid out like that, by someone specifically looking for it, shocked even girlfriend Asia Argento, who tweeted on Monday:

We are all sad and confused about the loss of Anthony Bourdain. But some fans are taking it out on the wrong person.

Someone who is already in a great deal of pain.

Asia Argento was the focus of a great deal of ire among the dregs of toxic masculinity even before her boyfriend's death, for her outspoken role as part of the #MeToo movement, and getting Bourdain involved in it as well.

Now she's being blamed by those "internet trolls" for his suicide as well, and the movement has her back.

An open letter obtained by The Wrap and signed by Terry Crews, Olivia Munn, Rose McGowan, and 42 more famous faces of #MeToo, demands Asia be left to grieve in peace:

Anthony Bourdain's 11-Year-Old Daughter Will Inherit Most Of His Estate

Anthony Bourdain's 11-year-old daughter Ariane will inherit most of the large estate the TV personality left behind, which is said to be worth around $1.21 million.

A copy of the Parts Unknown host's will was filed in a New York court on Thursday, detailing his $425,000 in cash, $35,000 in brokerage accounts, $250,000 in personal property, and $500,000 in "intangible property including royalties and residuals."

The documents also state that Bourdain has a mortgage worth $1.1 million, though the property is not specified.

According to NY Daily News, Ariane gets most of these assets. The will says that if Ariane had died before Bourdain, her nanny Myra Quizon

The Late Anthony Bourdain Took Part In A 'Death Ritual' With Darren Aronofsky On The Season Finale Of Parts Unknown

Six months before taking his own life, Anthony Bourdain performed a Bhutanese death ritual the final day of shooting the Season 11 finale of Parts Unknown.

The episode, which aired on CNN on Sunday, showed the celebrated chef traveling across Bhutan in South Asia with his friend Darren Aronofsky as they dined with traditional yak herders in the Himalayas and ate in the country's capital.

In between chowing down, Bourdain and Aronofsky conversed with a man who shared insight into the country's religion, Bhutanese Buddhism, which saw Bourdain reflecting on his own mortality.

When the native man explained the religious teachings serve as a reminder to "not take things too serious" as they believe this reality is "an illusion," Bourdain replied:

The reality star real estate broker surprised fans Sunday with a brutally honest Instagram post about his hidden battle with depression and suicidal thoughts. He wrote:

"For the past year I have been struggling with depression and during the last three months all I can think of - day and night - is putting an end to it all."

Explaining that the recent high profile deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain convinced him he needed to be honest about his feelings, to remind everyone the same internal struggle is happening inside a great many people, "regardless of who they are and what they have or haven't accomplished."
