The Only 2 X Factor Performances You Need To Watch Are THESE!

Last night was rather disappointing on X Factor. There was only ONE performance that truly stood out!

But, thankfully, that one performance was way worth it and completely overshadowed all others!

That ONE performance was delivered by Astro, the teen phenom who delivered the best performance of "rock" week - by rapping!

Astro is SUCH a star, and never was it more apparent than in his performance last night of I'll Be Missing You, arguably our favorite performance of all the ones he's done on the show thus far!

He was riveting - from start to finish! Such a knockout! Not just a homerun but a GRAND SLAM!!!

Check it out above!

And, on the flip side, Stacy Francis was soooooo bad last night that we had to showcase how poorly she performed last night!

Stacy already regrets her performance of Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back To Me Now. But she only has herself to blame! That song was Francis' own pick for rock night!

So many notes! And so many BAD ones! Her voice was all over the place!

Was that some kind of experiment or vocal exercise????

She also seemed out of breath and lacking connection with the song.

Stacy was by far the worst performer last night - and she knew it! You could tell by the expression on her face as she was receiving the judges' harsh critiques!

Check out Francis' performance below!

The Only 4 X Factor Performances You Need To Watch Are THESE!

Wow! Wow! Wow! A LOT of people stepped their game up last night! BIG TIME!

Only 1 of the 4 acts we predicted to make the Top 4 of X Factor were amongst our four favorite performances from yesterday!

Our favorite from last night - by far -was Rachel Crow! We were totally blown away!

Her performance (top video above) was most definitely not Disney! That was our biggest critique of her to date - that she felt a little too kiddie. However, Rachel's performance of the Etta James classic I'd Rather Be Blind was so mature! Well beyond her years!

Such a pleasant surprise! We didn't know she had that in her! So soulful! So BIG! So nuanced! So poised! AND she chose the song herself!

We didn't know she had all that in her, but we're thrilled we got a chance to see it! This little girl is not to be discounted! It was her best performance to date!

Our second favorite performance of last night was Josh Krajcik's! He killed it! Murdered!

That was THE PERFECT song for him! Totally his sweet spot! It was as if he wrote it himself! He poured himself into it and her heart came out!

He felt it! He sold it! And we bought it!

Check out Josh's take on the Beatles classic With A Little Help From My Friends above!

Another standount performance last night was Marcus Canty! He really WENT FOR IT! Kudos to him!

His vocals were on point! He was confident and really showed he's a great showman as well as a great singer!

His best performance yet too!

Check out his take on the Mary J. Blige's I'm Going Down below!

And, once again, we were soooooo impressed by Lakoda Rayne! We still find it hard to believe they were put together on the show and have only been singing as a group for a couple of months.

They were so tight! So tight!

And….

These girls look like superstars! The camera loves them! And, thankfully, they've got the talent to back it up!

Their vocals were flawless! And their stage presence is electric!

We LOVE them!!!!

Check out Lakoda Rayne's take on Keith Urban's Somebody Like You below (bottom video)!

The Only 4 X Factor Performances You Need To Watch Are THESE!

Once again our original picks to make it to the top 4 of American X Factor provided the best performances of the evening on the show last night!

This week, though, THE BEST performance - by far - belonged to Melanie Amaro! Watch her performance above. She gave us chills!!!! Melanie was THAT good! Her take on Desperado was just… wow. Wow. Wow!

The control! The range! The emotion! It was flawless!

Also giving an exceptional performance last night, despite not the most obvious song choice for her, was Drew Ryniewicz, who has such a special voice! It was our second favorite performance of the evening.

Drew took Nelly's rap song Just A Dream and turned it into something magical!!! Watch her performance above.

The only two other performances of note this week were, once again, Lakoda Rayne and Astro!

Vocally, Lakoda Rayne were stunning with their rendition of the Fleetwood Mac classic Landslide! On-point! Such exquisite harmonizing with each other! And they're a group that was put together on the show and have only been working as a team for a couple of months!

We love their voices, but we think the presentation was a bit cheeseball. The choreography (all that moving) was unnecessary for this song, in our opinion. This performances would have been a lot more effective if it was just all about their beautiful voices and that beautiful song without any distraction. Watch their performance below.

Astro continues to impress with his mad skills!!! So tight! And so young!

We loved his performance of Hip Hop Hooray. We would just like next week to see a little more variety and depth from him - and that's all about song choice! We'd suggest Kanye's Jesus Walks or a song likes that!

All of these 4 acts, though, are soooo good and could really go on to be relevant artists after X Factor is over!

As for everyone else???? We share our thoughts about all the other performances…. after the jump! Plus we choose our pick for whom we think/hope will get voted off tonight!

The Only 4 X Factor Performances You Need To Watch Are THESE!

17 acts performed on X Factor U.S.A. last night, and - unfortunately - almost all of them underwhelmed! Except these four!

We're gonna call it now!

THESE will be the top 4 finalists on U.S. X Factor this season!

Our favorite two acts were 14 year old rapper Astro and country pop girl group Lakoda Rayne (both above)!

Why are those two our favorites?

Because they've got the whole package! They've got that special "X" factor! AND, very important to us, we think they can then go on and be competitive! They'd work in the landscape of current music! We think they'd sell records, sell tickets to shows and could get real radio play!

They'd be RELEVANT!

Astro has got mad skills! And he's only 14! The rapper showed no signs of nerves as we was the first act up to perform last night! His performance was that of a pro beyond his years! He totally killed it with Jump! And we think this Brooklyn boy can appeal to a very wide demographic!

He's got it going on!

Tied for our favorite act of the evening was Lakoda Rayne, who not only harmonized beautifully and sounded amazing, but they already looked the part of superstars! WOW! Like four Carrie Underwoods! It's hard to believe they've only known each other a few months and were put together by the show at X Factor boot camp! Their performance of Come On, Eileen was flawless!

We see them being very successful in the country world and possibly/hopefully crossing over to pop too!

Even though Astro and Lakoda Rayne were our two favorites, that doesn't mean one of them will win the show. X Factor is still a TV program and there's lots of other variables at play!

The two other contenders we think could win and will make the top four are Drew Ryniewicz and Melanie Amaro.

Drew gave a beautiful performance of What A Feeling. It's a hard song to sing for a 14-year-old and especially with that slowed down arrangement, but she brought warmth and nuance to her interpretation!

She will do quite well on the show! We're just not sure how well she will do AFTER the show.

And as for Melanie, she gave a very solid performance last night - even though she hit a couple of really bad notes. It was a redemption story, as she had been voted off but Simon brought her back - and we and he are glad they gave her another chance!

Melanie clearly has a GREAT voice, but we weren't sure she was a star! She did a very good job at convincing us she could be last night! An audience favorite, she will do very well in the show!

And those are our top 4!

Do U agree?????
