However, one A-lister is struggling with the news of Rickman's unfortunate death — Emma Thompson. Tragic!
Miz Thompson's devastation is understandable since she and the BAFTA Award winner were very close friends and frequent collaborators. In fact, the twosome starred alongside each other in Love Actually, Sense and Sensibility, three HP films, and Judas Kiss.
In a recent statement, the Saving Mr. Banks actress shared:
This is so heartbreaking.
Fans around the globe are mourning the loss of Alan Rickman as news broke of his untimely death on Thursday. However, it appears that the ones struggling the most with the A-lister's passing are his costars from the Harry Potter franchise.
As we previously reported, many of Alan's peers, including Daniel Radcliffe and J.K. Rowling, made sure to pay tribute to the fallen actor. Most recently, Emma Watson has taken to both Twitter and Facebook to express her grief over Rickman's lost battle with cancer.
The 25-year-old posted:
This is just so sad!

Time for more announcements!
Award season is here which means we get to find out what 2015 movies will be nominated!
The list is mostly what you'd expect, but there were a couple major surprises regarding snubs as neither Jennifer Lawrence or Tom Hanks were nominated. In fact, David O. Russell's Joy wasn't nominated at all!
Another arguable snub was British actress Charlotte Rampling who didn't receive a nomination for her romantic drama 45 Years despite there being buzz that she could land an Oscar nod this year!
Perhaps one of the most puzzling omissions though was Spectre which didn't receive a SINGLE nomination! The reason this is a bit of a shock is the previous Bond film, Skyfall, not only won Outstanding British Film in 2013, but it was nominated for eight total awards!
Ch-ch-check out the full list of nominees (below) and let us know who you think was snubbed!
Tom Ford's faves battle it out!
Also, Gigi's boob window was much wider!
But now, we must ask…
Who Wore It Better???
