The adorable couple had a bite at NoBu restaurant in WeHo looking as in love as ever!

Paranoid much, Ben Affleck?

Director Kevin Smith recently opened up about how he bought the actor's old Hollywood home, and spilled the deets on some of the unusual accommodations it ended up providing!

He says:

"I bought Ben Affleck's house in 2003. But when we first came out here two years before, he was having a BBQ with a bunch of people – he was very proud, showing off the house. Rightfully so, it’s a gorgeous house. I’ve constantly benefited from Ben Affleck’s excellent taste. So he’s showing us around and says, 'I can’t wait to show you this, when I was building this, I knew you’d love it. Come with me to my bedroom.' Naturally I thought, 'I’m finally going to have sex with Ben Affleck [laughs] Excellent.' He brings me into this office off the master bedroom, which is now my master bedroom. And in this office is a beautiful bookcase and he says, watch this. He reaches over and under the bookshelf there is a hidden button *click* and the bookshelf pushes back, Batman style. At that point I fully expected Ben to say, 'lets go fight crime in Los Angeles!' But it wasn’t – he says, 'dude I built a panic room!' I couldn’t wait to go into it, I was expecting The Bat Cave. It was literally a 2×2 room. It was tiny. It might have been a small bathroom back in the day. The panic room had a safe in it, a video monitor and a phone so in case someone came you could hide in there. From the outside, it was very Hollywood. It was astounding. The moment you got inside…it’s not what you’re hoping for from Ben Affleck’s secret room. There is not a staircase that leads you down to a ski boat that takes you onto the bay. We don’t even use it any more – it's filled with our kids old Christmas gifts. Plus, no one’s panicked in this house. No one’s trying to come in here and steal me. I’m not Ben Affleck."

LOLs! We doubt anyone was trying to steal him either, bb!

Jennifer Garner was spotted arriving at LAX the other day with both children, the cutie pies Violet and Seraphina, in both arms, and we just have to hand it to her! She's juggling them both without breaking a sweat!

And of course, the kiddies just look thrilled to be spending time with mom!

Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck, Violet, and Seraphina looked absolutely precious as they stepped out for some shopping and lunch at the Country Mart in Brentwood, CA, this weekend.

We can't believe how big the girls are getting! They're going to grow up to look just like momma!

Awww!

Although the ceremony was back in March, the event aired on television last night and Ben Affleck presented his best friend Matt Damon with the American Cinematheque Award. He said:

"I kind of started out the same time with the guy, so this is a special night for me too. Seriously though, in Good Will Hunting I was gonna play the main guy, Matt's part. But it felt like it was so on the nose to have me play a genius.

Who could have imagined Matt would be here tonight? No one. Not his parents. Always seemed like they liked me a little more. I don't know, maybe it's just me. In all seriousness, Matt is a great guy, my best friend. It's an honor to present the American Cinematheque Award to my friend Matt Damon."

How touching! Plenty of jokes were made at Matt's expense though including one from Jimmy Kimmel:

"This is ridiculous giving salute to someone under 40. Next year lets give it to Vanessa Hudgens. I don't have much so say about Matt Damon, just like he didn't have much to say in Oceans 11, 12 and 13."

As for Matt, he accepted the award with gratitude and a touch of humor:

"I think everyone who works in this industry feels lucky to do what they do. This is quite a night for me that they are giving me this honor. It is all about supporting the work that they do.

To get the award from Ben, my 'hetero-lifemate', I can honestly say that next year at this time I think there's a good chance that Ben will be here - presenting this award to someone else."

Now here is some awkward news:

They are going to do a movie together! (maybe…)

Hollywood insiders are suggesting that Mrs. and Almost Mrs. Ben Affleck could be lined up to play bitter love rivals in a new chick flick. Some say it is just a "coincidence" that they are being considered for the same movie and many feel it is highly unlikely that the two will agree to it.

But we would sure as hell watch it if they did! Why not throw in Ben as the love interest and complete this circle of weird!

They must be so relieved!

Jennifer Garner's stalker was ordered to a mental institution according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office:

"Steven Richard Burky, pleaded no contest today to two counts of felony stalking. Judge Katherine Mader then found him not guilty by reason of insanity and sentenced him to Patton State Hospital.

"Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall said the judge made her ruling based on reports from two psychiatrists who examined Burky."

Additionally a 10-year restraining order was issued to keep Burky at least 500 yards away from Jen, her husband Ben Affleck and their two daughters Violet and Seraphina, if or when Burky is released.

Phew!

What an amazing cause!

Ben Affleck is launching the Eastern Congo Initiative to support Congolese organizations that help survivors of rape and sexual violence, helps to reintegrate child soldiers into their communities, increases access to health care and education, promotes economic opportunity and creates community-level peace and reconciliation programs.

Affleck, who just returned from a 5-day trip to the region, says in a statement:

"The situation in eastern Congo has been neglected for far too long — it is one of the worst humanitarian tragedies in the world. I brought together this unique collection of partners in order to bring their experience in humanitarian relief and sustainable development to bear as we focus like never before on local solutions to challenges in this region.

"Right now, the attention paid to this crisis doesn't match the needs of those affected by it. We will raise that attention level, and work with the extraordinary Congolese people who are making a positive difference in their own communities."

Good for him — we love when celebs focus on the greater good!

Garner was photographed shopping with little Violet at a Gelson's Supermarket Saturday and the cutie pie looked so excited to be helping her mom with the groceries!!

It's great to see another hands-on celebrity mom!!

Violet's definitely going to grow up all the better for it!!
