Although the court ordered Chris Brown not to go within 50 yards of Rihanna, both of them want to be rid of the strict no-contact clause, according to the NY Daily News.

"They think it's unnecessary and ridiculous," says a mutual pal. "After [the proceeding], Ri and Chris talked on the phone for almost an hour and really worked at becoming friends. They're solid now."

He solidly beat the crap out of her!!!!

At least RiRi and Chris aren't getting back together!

"That's 100% done," continued the source. "They aren't looking to hook back up again. They're both moving on and going their separate ways."

Thank goodness!

Both of them are scheduled to attend the BET Awards in El Lay this Sunday!

Better keep their distance!

Coward. Epic coward.

A plea bargain has been accepted in the assault case against douchebag Chris Brown.

Brown's plea deal will require him to spend 180 days in a labor domestic violence program and get five years probation for felony assault.

If he violates his probation in any way, he'll get four years in prison.

Rihanna did not appear in court today and thus did not testify.

What do U think of the court's decision? Was it fair? Too tough or too lenient?

Violence is NEVER the answer!

The day is finally here!

Today, the preliminary hearing for douchebag Chris Brown's assault trial will be underway and a star witness will be in attendance: Miss Rihanna herself!

Though RiRi was subpoenaed to appear in court, it is still uncertain if she will testify. DO IT!

She has the right to refuse, which may result in some minor fines if she does, but experts expect that a judge would be reluctant to fine her since this is a domestic violence case. If she does take the stand, it is expected she will be grilled and questioned for no less than 2 hours between both sides and it is unclear to how the testimony will go, though it is pivotal to the case.

If Rihanna testifies and seems believable and genuine, then it would be presumed that the case will go to trial or force Chris to accept a plea bargain. If not, Chris' lawyers will be seeking two lesser charges, or have the case completely dismissed.

In other words, her testimony makes or breaks the whole damn thing.

We hope she gives him hell! We hope she stands up for herself and all women (or men) who have ever been subject to this kind of abuse. Because, honestly, it isn't just about her anymore. If she takes a stand and does what's right, others will follow her example.

So be brave, girl! We're all rooting for you!

Rihanna is expected to take the stand at Chris Brown's preliminary hearing on Monday, but you will not see it!!!!

Los Angeles judge Patricia Schnegg decided against allowing cameras into the courtroom.

Good for her!!!

Brown entered a "not guilty" plea for assault and making criminal threats stemming from a February argument with then girlfriend Rihanna.

If he reaches a plea agreement, Monday's hearing would not be necessary!!!

We all know he did it, right???!!!

If convicted for assault and making criminal threats, he could be sentenced to anywhere from probation to four years in prison.

What goes around, comes around!!!

The California Supreme Court has rejected an appeal made by Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, to view confidential LAPD files regarding the illegal leak of Rihanna's evidence photo.

Geragos hoped to fid the source of the leaked photo.

Brown and Rihanna will come face to face in court on Monday, when a preliminary hearing determines if there is enough evidence to proceed with a jury trial.

Chris Bown has more to worry about than going to jail over beating on Rihanna earlier this year.

Turns out the douchebag has been getting death threats. Shocker!

And according to reports, the authorities are believing the threats to be legit.

An inside source reveals that the threats have been coming from a group calling itself the "Women's Protection Action League." Or then again, it could just be from a crazy ass with a fake group.

Some threats have even indicated that the assassin would be posing as a paparazzi.

Either way, Brown isn't taking the threats lightly. Recently, he won't go out without a minimum of three visible bodyguards.

And one LAPD insider adds that Brown also has three or four undercover bodyguards tagging along, with some being female "but who are easily as tough as any man."

The threats have left Brown apparently "totally paranoid" and very obsessed with his security.

Brown may be a douche but that's no reason to kill him or make threats!

It's official.

The court has ordered Rihanna to appear at the hearing for Chris Brown's assult charges and to be on call as a possible witness.

Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, confirmed that the singer has been served a subpoena and has been ordered to appear and says that Rihanna will comply to be present for the June 22nd hearing.

Oh, shiz. You know she's gonna testify.

Can't wait to FINALLY hear her side of the story from her!

Robert Rosen, the photographer suing Chris Brown for assault, talked to paparazzi outside the place of his supposed attack, LA Fitness, and recinds the entire incident moments after it happened!

The photog states that "Chris is a good guy … it's no big deal" and accepts full responsibility for his broken leg.

He even praised Chris' bodyguards for doing their job!

If you're dumb enough to file a frivolous lawsuit, at least keep your mouth shut!
