A two monorail train crash at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL, early Sunday morning resulted in the death of a Disney monorail driver!!

Awful!

The crash was the first deadly accident for the theme park's monorail system in its 38 year history!

One of the monorail trains was making its last stops around the park at 2 a.m. after the annual Independence Day fireworks show when the monorail was struck by another train with 21-year-old Austin Wuennenberg behind the wheel.

Wuennenberg was pronounced dead on the scene after not responding to passengers and firefighters alike. The driver and 6 passengers on the monorail that was hit by Wuennenberg's train escaped the accident with only minor injuries.

The park reopened on Sunday, but the monorail will be closed until the investigation of the accident is complete.

Disney has released the following statement regarding the 4th of July tragedy:

"Today, we mourn the loss of our fellow cast member. Our hearts go out to his family and those who have lost a friend and coworker. The safety of our guests and cast members is always our top priority. The monorail is out of service and we will continue to work closely with law enforcement to determine what happened and the appropriate next steps."

We wonder what the real cause of the accident was???

The voice of Disney's Mickey Mouse, Wayne Allwine, passed away Monday due to complications from diabetes.

The Disney legend had been lending his voice to Mickey for the last 30 years and was only the third person to do so. His work began in 1977 on The New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and includes the film Mickey's Christmas Carol and even the Kingdom Hearts video game series.

Allwine was 62 years old and leaves behind a wife, Russi Taylor.

Believe it or not, she is the current voice of Minnie Mouse!

Awwwww!

Wayne will be greatly missed.

Could the Jonas Brothers hype have lost some of its heat???

Even though 4 million tweens and parents tuned into the Disney Channel's premiere of Jonas on Saturday night, the JoBros new series failed to bring the numbers Disney was hoping for!!

In fact, Jonas was the lowest rated premiere of a live action series for the channel since 2005!!!!

Even Miley Cyrus has bypassed the Jonas Brothers in the ratings!!

The latest ep of Hannah Montana premiered to 4.8 million viewers, almost one million more than her channel-mates.

Ouch!

This should come to no surprise, considering Smiley's Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour earned a cool $40 million more than the Jonai's 3-D box-office underperfomer!

Will the JoBros mania survive through 2009???

Or do we have three Jesse McCartney's on our hands????

We kid. We kid.

We still love the Jonai!

Miley Cyrus is trying hard to make her hokey new flick, Hannah Montana: The Movie, a money-maker. In fact, Miley has been forced decided to follow in the footsteps of fellow Disney stars, the Jonas Bros and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The actors all made surprise appearances at select screenings of their flicks around the country in order to greet their fans and encourage a sold-out weekend.

The Jonai did it for their film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience back in February and Dwayne surprised fans last month for his movie, Race to Witch Mountain.

The idea behind this all is part of Disney's Opening Weekend Surprise program. And now, unfortunately for everyone else, Miley will be participating in it.

The Disney slut says, "I'm so excited to have the opportunity to surprise my fans this weekend. I'm really proud of 'Hannah Montana: The Movie,' and wanted to do something special to reward the loyal Disney fans who show up opening weekend."

Basically, everyone avoid the movie theaters this weekend.

It will be tween craziness!

Disney is practically giving away tickets to its Brodway shows, The Lion King, Mary Poppings and The Little Mermaid!

Beginning April 4th, the Mouse house will launch their new "$15 for 15 promotion".

Basically, for 15 days, theatergoers who purchase a full-price ticket to any Disney show can buy a second ticket of equal value for just $15.

Get it? $15, 15, ha, ha.

Why does Miley Cyrus continue to break the law and get away with it? Does she really deserve all these free passes?

As we've mentioned before, Slutty has been spotted several times riding her bicycle without a helmet. And according to California law, it is ILLEGAL for a minor under the age of 18 to do so without wearing proper headgear. The same way it is ILLEGAL to park your car in a handicap space without a permit.

Sunday night, Cyrus and her "straight" boyfriend Justin Gaston decided to go out for a bite of sushi. Afterwards the two and a friend decided to stop by Millions of Milkshakes for some dessert.

That's when wildchild Cyrus thought she was entitled to park in a handicap parking. Cause she can do whatever she wants, ya know.

Sorry Miley, but being mentally handicapped doesn't allow you to park in that spot! Especially without a permit!!!

And, seriously, how did this girl even pass her driver's exam? What should have been a very easy backing out in her small Toyota Prius took Miley several attempts to properly leave the spot. To which she then told the paparazzi, “I’m just saying, that was some intense backing up!”

Haha.

Idiot!
