Another selfie, another day.
Totally harmless, right? Wrong.

Oh Gemma Ward, how we’ve missed you!
The 23-year-old has put those retirement rumors to rest and is once again back on magazine covers.
Ward was photographed by Peter Ash Lee for the cover of a supplement to the Australian Harper’s Bazaar.
The issue, called Talking Points, shows a glowing Gemma with minimal makeup or hair product.
There’s something so simplistic about the look that we’re loving.
Welcome back to modeling bb! We know movies are fun, but hopefully we’ll see more of her in upcoming features.
At the end of 2009, model Gemma Ward stepped out of the spotlight after being scrutinized for her weight, but apparently it was more than that.
In a recent interview, the Aussie says Heath Ledger's death was the real reason behind her decision to leave..
"I have taken a break from the media spotlight for the past few years and it was something spurred by Heath's death. (Heath and I) first met in New York and we were both struggling with things that I won't get into, and we bonded over that.
I kind of met him at first and said, 'Listen my mum's living with me right now and I'm kind of going through a hard time and I'm not interested in having a serious relationship with somebody right now' and he was like, 'You know, um, let's just be there for each other through these hard times we're both going through'. And we developed a relationship and we started seeing each other."
Once they became official, the two spent the Christmas of 2007 together in Perth.
"The time we spent in Perth was incredible because we were both from Perth and it was also a time when it was beautiful in Perth and both our families were there and we met each other's families. We were able to not be in any kind of a spotlight and not have to be meeting with people or be hounded by press or anything. We lived in a magical kind of world where we weren't intruded upon."
Less than a month later, Heath was found dead in his New York City apartment.
Supermodel Lily Cole says she may quit modeling for acting.
How very Gemma Ward of her!
"I love acting and if the right opportunity did come along I would definitely consider quitting altogether. It is certainly something I want to prioritise in the future. It's not a finite decision though - I may not get the opportunity. If a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity came along I'd even consider leaving Cambridge to do a film. I'd definitely weigh up my options and talk to my tutors about flexibility."
Wow. Sounds like she's really serious about this acting thing. At least she has both her modeling and education to fall back on if that "right opportunity" never comes along.

Suck on this haters!
After being attacked for her weight and taking a break from modeling, Gemma Ward is finally getting back to work. But instead of the runway, the model will be hitting the big screen with Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides!
In the 4th installment of the Pirates franchise, Gemma will be playing a mermaid alongside the French Connection's Astrid Berges-Frisbey.

As the end of the decade approaches, of course the "best of" lists are coming to the surface.
So Vogue Paris has decided to get in on the action by creating a list of 30 models who have impacted the last ten years of modeling and fashion.
The list doesn't seem to be in any particular order, but includes many of our fravorites, like Sasha Pivovarova, Gemma Ward, Agyness Deyn, Lara Stone, and Daria Werbowy, but we feel like they left out a lot of people!
The full list is as follows:
1. Gemma Ward
2. Agyness Deyn
3. Daria Werbowy
4. Lara Stone
5. Lily Donaldson
6. Natalia Vodianova

What about Erin Wasson? Jourdan Dunn??
Those are models who have made a major splash in the fashion world and they are completely omitted!
Still, we feel some of the most significant models of the past ten years have been omitted.
Do you think people were left out? If so, who?
This is awesome.
Sadie Frost and Jemima French, the clothing line's founders, want Gemma to model for their new ad campaign - but not when she rejoins the fashion world in a few years. They want her now, at her current "heavy" weight (we think she looks great). According to sources, the company wants a "real girl" to face their brand.
This all comes after Frost French was rescued by a Norwegian investor and subsequently opened their second store in London earlier this month.
We hope Gemma signs on to do the campaign! Very, very exciting on all counts.

Good for her!
Last week we reported that Gemma Ward had made the decision to quit modeling after being attacked for her weight. Even her rep issued a statement confirming that the Aussie had no plans on modeling anytime soon. But now Gemma is speaking out!
Yesterday she tweeted: "Thankyou everyone for your support, all i'll say on the subject is im content with my decision but i have said nothing will be permanent".
She also emailed The West Australian saying she has not quit modeling and plans to strut down the catwalk next year.
In the meantime, Gemma's mum said the 22 year old is thinking about taking a three-year course at Yale. If she's interested in Ivy Leagues she should look into Princeton. We're sure she'd pass that modeling class with flying colors!
Hopefully a little break will do her some good.
