Well hellooo! Again!
One of our favorite movies Mrs. Doubtfire is getting a sequel! We can hardly believe it!
We're so glad she's feeling better!
A baby gorilla at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park was born on March 12th, and had a rough time of it for a few weeks.
The poor lil' one had to have surgery for a collapsed lung not too long after being born via emergency C-section delivery, and even had pneumonia at one point. During that whole excruciating experience, the female baby gorilla was under intense care at the veterinary clinic.
But the newborn gorilla has recovered nicely, and recently got to meet her mother Imani and other family member for the very first time!
Here's what senior keeper Matt Gelvin said:
Awww! This is so super cute!
The gorillas at Atlanta Zoo are so lucky! They have such great keepers!
To keep the apes from getting bored, the zoo puts all the leaves into piles and hides food in them.
It's all part of enrichment, which is meant to get the animals up and moving around and get their brains going.
It keeps them happy and also just happens to be insanely cute to watch!
One of the zoo's resident gorillas, Kazi, went absolutely bananas over the piles of leaves!
Running, rolling, splashing leaves around… it looks like so much fun!!
Check out the video (above) for some tips on how you can enjoy fall some more! LOLz!
Ha! When it comes to gorillas, we tend to think of furry tanks with unstoppable fists of fury!
Or them being all smart and learning sign language or petting a kitten or something.
This gorilla is a big wimp!
Two geese flew into his enclosure and all it takes is a couple of honks to scare him off.
He keeps approaching them again, and quickly runs away as soon as they spread their wings and stand up all threatening like!
It's pretty funny to see such a giant beast afraid of two tiny geese.
Check out the video (above) to see one scaredy gorilla check out some geese!
Remember when the worst thing that happened during the government shutdown was we lost our precious panda cam??
That was totes the worst!
During the government shutdown the Smithsonian's National Zoo had to close its gates! And it lead to the saddest photo we've ever seen!
Well the zoo is now back open! Huzzah!
While it was closed, some inneresting shiz went down: there was a departure, two deaths and some SEX!
Some gorillas, like people, just don't play well with others.
That was the case for Patrick, the 23-year-old, 430-pound Western lowland gorilla at the Dallas Zoo.
He's apparently pretty sexist, nipping and sneering at the female gorillas he should normally be mating with.
He even went as far as to bite one of the ladies!!
Sadly, Patrick is a sweetheart towards people, and a real staff favorite, but he's gotta go because Dallas just isn't the place for him.
He's going to move to Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens in Columbia, S.C. where his behavioral issues can be better handled.
The Zoo has been upset about him leaving, but also about how the media has been "inaccurately" reporting why he's moving, so they took to Facebook to clear the air, writing:
Aww! That's so stinkin' cute!!
We don't know who's cuter… the little girl or the baby gorilla?
This little girl was with her family, just checking out the gorilla exhibit, when a baby gorilla came up to the glass.
We don't know who started it but they began mimicking each other!
It's so adorbz! He bangs on the glass, so then she bangs. He puts his lips against the glass, so she kisses the glass!
Ahh! Cuteness overload!!
Check out the video (above) to see a little girl make a very hairy friend while visiting the zoo!
This is absolutely ahmayzing!!
At Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park, two young mountain gorillas were spotted doing something incredible…
They were dismantling traps set by poachers!!
The pair of young apes were spotted taking apart snares after one of their own was killed by a trap!
