A baby gorilla named Gladys is being raised temporarily by human parents!
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden believe Gladys will eventually be able to live with fellow gorillas, but in the meantime - they've ordered custom faux gorilla vests, so they can nurse little Gladys
Motion-triggered digital camera traps have given scientists a brand new way to study wild animals. And this method gets up close and personal!!
Managed by Conservation International, the network has deployed camera traps across 16 sites in Asia, Africa and Latin America, at each site, the traps collect up to 60,000 images every year - which may help scientists collect data that would have otherwise taken years to organize.

Colo has seen a lot of things in her life…and she gets to celebrate her 56th birthday this past weekend!
Born December 22 in 1956, Colo is a modern marvel. Not only is she the oldest known gorilla in the world, she was also the first gorilla born in captivity under human care.
So this is how the Planet of the Apes starts! LOLz!

Anya and Lia are two proud gorilla mamas at the Ramat Gan Safari Park, taking care of their little cuties, who both have the same silverback dad in Lucas.
While the staffers knew about one of the possible babes, the other came out of the blue!
