The movie is about Jackie Robinson, the African American sports star who broke the color barrier in baseball.
Looks like an action packed, heart-warming, dramatic movie. The perfect blend of sports and emotional roller coaster!

The holidays wouldn't be complete without some volunteering time being clocked in, so in order to do good during this lovely time, Harrison Ford fed the homeless.
On Christmas Eve, the Cowboys & Aliens star took his helping hands to the Los Angeles Mission to assist those in need.
Indiana Jones is a huge badass, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get health scares like the rest of us.
It's true, Harrison Ford had to have a lump removed from his nose — though, luckily it was benign. He was advised by docs to remove the growth, which was a non-cancerous basal cell carcinoma.
Like sports? Like movies? Like the civil rights movement?
Well then get your booty down to the theater to see 42!
It's the Jackie Robinson story, starring Harrison Ford!
No, Harrison isn't playing the lead. LOLz!
It's the story of the first black professional baseball player.
He changed the game forever.
Check out the video (above) to see the trailer for this great looking film!
Harrison Ford has been cast to star as the man who help Jackie Robinson break the color barrier.
Ford will play Branch Rickey, the MLB exec who signed Robinson to a minor league deal.
Two years later, Robinson signed with the Dodgers and history was made.
For his innovation and other contributions to baseball, Rickey was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1967.
The Jackie Robinson flick is yet to be titled but it has landed a big fish in Ford.
Up and comer Chadwick Boseman is slated to star as Robinson.
