According to The Daily Mail's math, the actor could make more than $34 million for his role in the seventh installment of the blockbuster series when all is said and done!
The 73-year-old's Death Star-sized paycheck is based on a $25 million upfront deal AND a 0.5% share of the film's earnings — which could cash in at another $9 million if the film surpasses
This is pretty cool!
But because the film was directed by J.J. Abrams, there was a lot of secrecy around the project — which meant a lot of surprises and cameos!

While dishing on his love for the sci-fi adventure, the late night host revealed Harrison Ford almost didn't return to the role of Han Solo!
Colbert went on to unveil "secret footage" of the meeting that director J.J. Abrams had with Ford to try and convince the actor to return as the legendary character.
Surprisingly, the credit didn't go to J.J. as much as it did Stephen for dropping in on the meetup and annoying the heck out of the 73-year-old actor.

With the help of The Roots and the cast of The Force Awakens, the late night host put together an AH-Mazing Tonight Show a cappella installment featuring John Williams' classic scores from the films!
The mashup starts with Jimmy and The Roots singing the fan-favorite Main Title song, when franchise newbies Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac pop up to join in!
Then the dark side takes over to sing The Imperial March, with the help of Adam Driver and Gwendoline Christie — along with a clan of Stormtroopers!
Taking on the Cantina theme song is R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Chewbacca, and Lupita Nyong'o!
