Report: Harrison Ford Is Released From The Hospital Almost A Month After His Plane Crash

We're so happy for Harrison Ford!

Over the weekend, Harrison was reportedly spotted driving around El Lay which can only mean one thing: the actor has been RELEASED from the hospital!

Since March 5, Ford has been on the mend inside UCLA Medical Center for injuries he sustained during the plane crash. While the 72-year-old suffered a major laceration on his scalp and some broken bones from the incident, it appears he's on the road to a full recovery.

We bet Mr. Ford's wife, Calista Flockhart, has played a huge role in his renewed health! Girl was at the hospital EVERY DAY for her husband!!

Congrats on getting better, Harrison!

As we reported earlier this month, Harrison Ford was forced to make an emergency crash-landing on Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California when his plane experienced engine failure.

Startling Images Of Harrison Ford Moments After His Plane Crash Have Been Released

As we reported last week, Harrison Ford was flying a 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR aircraft when he experienced engine failure and was forced to crash-land on Penmar Golf Course in Venice, CA.

On Monday, images of the 72-year-old moments after the crash have been released, which depict the chaotic and gruesome nature of the scene.

The photo (below) shows paramedics wrapping up the Star Wars actor's head with bandages as he received several cuts from the incident. Just a warning — this may not be suitable for everyone:

Harrison Ford is one impressive guy.

Just one day after Harrison's plane crash, we're learning how the actor survived the incident with just moderate injuries.

According to eyewitness and fellow pilot Ryan Kavanaugh, the 72-year-old did ALL the right things to avoid fatally crashing after the engine on his World War II-era training glider stalled out.

Harrison Ford is doing okay despite being battered, according to his son Ben Ford.

The Star Wars actor crash-landed his vintage WWII plane on the Penmar golf course in Venice on Thursday.

Here's what the rep for NTSB Patrick Jones (no relation to Indiana Jones) had to say about the crash in a statement:

Update: Harrison Ford's Son Ben Ford Says He's 'Battered But Okay' Following Plane Crash

UPDATE #3: Ben Ford, Harrison's son, sent the following message from the hospital:

"Dad is okay, battered but okay. He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man."

UPDATE #2: NBC Los Angeles spoke with a family member who said that the actor has a few gashes, but is fine.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles Fire Department's Patrick Butler has given a press conference, stating:

"The patient was in moderate condition, alert, conscious and breathing."

Harrison Ford was piloting a small plane on Thursday when he somehow lost control and crash-landed on Penmar Golf Course in Venice at around 2:20 p.m.

The vintage yellow and silver WWII aircraft was totaled while the 72-year-old actor reportedly suffered gashes on his head.

Harrison was the only passenger.

Since it was a golf course, there were obviously two doctors playing a round who were able to treat Harrison at the scene before he was transported to nearby Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

The Star Wars actor is no stranger to flying planes, so we'll be sure to keep you updated on what caused the crash when more news surfaces.
