Looks like a new Wes Anderson film isn't happening anytime soon!

Jason Schwartzman is set to star in an HBO comedy pilot called Bored to Death.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, he'll play a a struggling thirtysomething writer with a drinking problem in Brooklyn who, following a painful breakup with his girlfriend, decides to emulate his heroes from the novels of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. He takes out an ad pretending to be a private detective and starts taking cases — solving some and making others worse.

If the show was to get picked up by HBO for a series, would you watch?

Two of our faves, Natalie Portman and Jason Schwartzman looked cool as cucumbers at the premiere of their new short film, Hotel Chevalier, Tuesday night at the Apple Store in NYC.

The film, directed by Wes Anderson, is a companion piece to the upcoming The Darjeeling Limited and will be released on the DVD of that movie.
