We had THE BEST time in NYC this weekend!
Amongst the highlights: din din with our east coast bestie (Pia), the opening of Halloween nightclub/theatrical experience Purgatorio (which was soooo rad), and catching up with our old pal John Stamos at Bye Bye Birdie.
That is what Zac Efron will look like in 25 years!
So dreamy!

He finally 'fessed up!
John Stamos opened up about the infamous television interview in Australia among other things in a charming new interview with The Advocate to promote his Broadway show Bye Bye Birdie.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On his appearance on Australian talk-show Mornings with Kerri-Anne:
"I’ll be honest: When I went on that morning show, I was drunk. Yes, I was on sleeping pills and I was jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered. And I never said I wasn’t, but that whole Warner Bros. publicity machine got involved and said, 'Just say he was jet-lagged.' I said, 'No, tell ’em the truth! I was fucking drunk in Australia. Big deal.'”
On running into Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig while all working on Broadway:
"Hugh’s an old friend of mine and it’s such a small community, so I’m sure I’ll run into them. Some woman asked me the other day, 'Is there a place where all you heartthrobs hang out?' I said, 'Yes, it’s called the Hollywood Heartthrob Club. We just sit around and talk about how hot we are.' There is a great bar, Bar Centrale, where everybody goes after their shows, so it’s a good place to see your fellow actors."
On aging yet remaining so youthful:
"It’s funny, because I haven’t had one ounce of Botox or any of that. I finally got gray hairs in the past couple years, and I wore it on ER, but they made me cover it up in this show. I don’t want to be one of those weird-looking guys who gets old but stays looking young."
On Perezzers(!!!):
"You know, Perez is one of my buddies. It wasn’t in the article, but Perez was actually there helping to direct my photo session when I was shooting the cover of The Advocate. He was down the street, so I said, 'Come down here and help me figure out how to pose.'"
On marriage equality:
"My dad always told me to stay out of politics and religion, which I have for most of my career, but when that movie [Wedding Wars on A&E] came up and I felt so strongly about it, I had to do it. You know, for better or worse and whatever happened with my own marriage [to Rebecca Romijn], I remember how excited I was to propose to someone and have that day in front of all my friends and family to say, 'This is who I love and want to spend the rest of my life with.' I guess it’s just a simple, surfacey thing, but how can you not allow someone to have those same beautiful feelings? That’s why I did that movie."
Oh, Uncle Jesse! You're so wise and HAWT!
Have mercy!

One of the joys (and troubles) with live theater is that you never quite know whats going to happen.
Last night was the final preview performance of Broadways' Bye, Bye Birdie, starring Full House alum John Stamos. Just as the cast was about to go into a rousing performance of Put on a Happy Face, an "electronically controlled set failed to clear during a scene change" and the show was put on hold for almost 20 minutes.
Always the charmer, John decided to entertain the audience while they waited, pulling up other celebrities to join him on stage to tell jokes and keep everyone happy. One of his esteemed guests was the legendary Don Rickles, who heckled John from his seat by screaming “Are they gonna fix it or is this going to be a weekend?”
Then it was time to get the family together as John dragged fellow Full House resident Bob Saget onstage to banter with him. Danny Tanner Bob was forced to speak into John's forehead, where he was miked and rejoiced that it wasn't John's crotch instead. They even brought out John's Bye Bye Birdie costar Gina Gershon and got her to a little something from Showgirls! (Relax, she feathered her hands…whoopee!)
Finally, after 20 minutes, the show was ready to continue and ran without anymore problems. Let's hope the same will be said about the show's opening tonight.
In our opinion though, we would much rather see John Stamos wing it for 20 minutes than Bye Bye Birdie. Maybe they can incorporate that into the intermission!

Uncle Jesse is putting his producer hat on!
John Stamos confesses that he’s thinking about developing a Full House feature film!!!
“I’m working on a movie idea, but it wouldn’t be us playing us I’m not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years,” said the former sitcom star.
He even had casting recommendations!
“I see Steve Carell as [Bob Saget’s character] Danny Tanner and Tracy Morgan as [Dave Coulier’s] Joey Gladstone because he’s funny," offered the thesp.
And to play Stamos' Jesse Katsopolis?
James Franco!!!

John Stamos is one of the lucky few who managed to keep maintain an acting career after his Full House years!
Unlce Jesse was doing some press for the series finale of ER when he revealed a bit of information about his next project.
According to Stamos, he's not taking a break once he puts down his medical scrubs. In fact, he's heaidng back to Broadway!
Stamos revealed that he will be a part of revival of the musical Bye Bye Birdie, though he didn't mention which role he'd be playing.
Other castmates have yet to be announced, but production is set for this Fall.
Stamos previously appeared on Broadway in Cabaret, Nine and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Maybe he was getting some theater tips from the talented Bette Middler when the two met up for dinner last month?

John Stamos and…. Bette Midler?
Yup!
The Full House alum was spotted out to din din at Orso in Los Angeles with the Divine Miss M. on Tuesday night.
We don't think it was a date - they're both attached.
They just have….a lot in common?

Hi, hot stuff!
John Stamos was caught by the paparazzi outside of Le Cirque in New York on Friday.
We have a feeling Zac Efron will pull a Stamos in the future - hotter as he ages!
John was at Le Cirque for Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky's wedding.
Howard told us he's not releasing any wedding pics. Let's see of that happens!

Rapper, entrepenuer and actor Sean Combs was in Sundance on Wednesday. And, no, he wasn't just there to party and get free shiz.
He was actually working!
Diddy's new project, A Raisin in The Sun, premiered at the film festival. The movie is not in competition. It was made for TV and will premiere on ABC later this season.
John Stamos - looking hot even with the scruff - is also in the film, as are Sanaa Lathan, Audra McDonald and Phylicia Rashad.
Diddy not only stars in the movie, based on the famous play, but he also produced it.
Hope he doesn't suck!

Two lucky PerezHilton.com readers ran into Bob Saget and John Staymoist while on their honeymoon.
The best buds and former Full House costars were on a fellas' vacation to Greece, where they look like they've been enjoying the sun and probably some of the local cuisine too.
What does Grecian pussy pot pie taste like?
