They are NOT afraid to call Amber Heard out, alleging she's in it for the money — and that her anger, rather than the facts, is driving the proceedings!
Johnny Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, is not holding back about how she sees Heard's allegations, alleging in new court papers that the domestic abuse claims are a bunch of bunk — and just a money grab!
This time it's Lori Anne Allison, a woman who was married to Depp from 1983 to 1985, claiming that she doesn't believe Heard's allegations about domestic violence!
Speaking to reports, Lori apparently does not believe that Amber is telling the truth about the domestic violence, citing the fact that during her own three-year marriage to Depp, he never hit or beat her.
Allison goes a step further, calling Johnny a 'soft person' kind to animals, and saying that he never even screamed at her.
Allison and Depp connected recently — they still speak often, apparently — when she offered him condolences over his mother's recent death.

Even though there's some serious drama back home, Johnny Depp appears to be in good spirits.
The rocker was in Lisbon, Portugal with his band the Hollywood Vampires on Friday night, performing until 3:30 am and, at least according to one of the people in attendance, seemingly in very good spirits and very good shape at the gig.
A source told PEOPLE that Depp was bouncing around on stage and seemed like he had it together the entire night — which would refute recent allegations by Amber Heard in the midst of their increasingly ugly split.
The source said:
The calendar may have turned to a long holiday weekend, but the drama continues.
Johnny Depp is now being accused by Amber Heard of being 'barely ever sober' during the 15 months they were married, setting up the angle that Johnny isn't the best person to remember whether any domestic violence took place because of an alleged steady stream of cocaine and booze.
Sources close to Amber told TMZ that she is angry Johnny is calling her a liar over the DV claims, and she apparently contends that because he was almost always high, it would have been impossible for him to remember what really happened.
Amber drops the bomb that
The blonde beauty went to court to ask for — and ultimately receive — a restraining order against Johnny Depp, alleging that the eccentric actor would regularly beat her over the course of their 15-month marriage.
As more information about the Friday Night Lights alum's court documents is revealed, we're learning more about the actress' horrifying accusations.
In the legal papers, the gorgeous gal claims her estranged husband "has a short fuse" and she even feared for his life when he went on his reported rampages, saying:
The blonde's court appearance comes only days after she filed for divorce from the eccentric actor, and actually on the very day of the theatrical release of his new movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass.

Johnny Depp continues to maintain his innocence!
On Friday afternoon, Mr. Depp's lawyer released a statement against Amber Heard's domestic abuse claims. The actor also addressed the temporary restraining order a judge issued Heard following a dramatic court hearing.
Similarly to the 52-year-old's reply to A.H.'s divorce petition, the message denied all of his ex's allegations.
In short, the poppa's team strongly contends he never abused Heard, a position he feels is supported by the blonde's decision not to file a police report against him. Depp's team also pointed to an injury free Instagram picture the actress posted the day after their May 21 argument.
