Singer Jason Derulo’s been dating Jordin Sparks for the past seven months now, but that doesn’t mean they were complete strangers beforehand!

Derulo (we dare you to try reading his name without singing it!) recently revealed that a trip to the Bahamas this past summer took the couple's relationship to another level!

This is all very bittersweet.

Whitney Houston did not only complete her last acting role before her tragic passing earlier in the year with the Salim Akil-directed remake of the musical drama Sparkle, in which she stars as the mother of Jordin Sparks' character, but she also contributed some of her last vocal work for the film's soundtrack, including a R. Kelly-penned duet with the American Idol alum called Celebrate!

Akil explains:

First Look at Whitney Houston's Last Film Sparkle

As absolutely tragic as Whitney Houston's death was, we are really excited to see her shine one more time in her last film, Sparkle!

The movie, a remake of the 1976 musical drama, will be American Idol Jordin Sparks’ film debut and Whitney’s first time acting in 16 years!!!

That’s a HUGE deal!

Definitely bittersweet.

She really looked radiant and we cannot wait to see Jordin’s acting career take off!

Clive Davis Denies Whitney Biopic Rumors

clive-davis-not-making-whitney-biopic-web.jpg

Clive Davis has put a huge halt on any Whitney Houston biopic buzz that was linked to him.

As reported earlier, Rihanna was in the lead to portray the fallen singer, edging out Jennifer Hudson, Vivica A. Fox, and Jordin Sparks.

Now, it looks like no one will get that chance.

A rep from Clive's camp squashed the movie rumors, stating that "there is no truth to this. Clive is not putting together a biopic."

Sad. We would have loved to see RiRi portray Whitney!

Watch Whitney Houston Sing In Upcoming Film Sparkle

It was going to be her big comeback…

In Whitney Houston's final film, Sparkle, Whitney plays the mother of Jordin Sparks's character who sings in a girl group, loosely based on The Supremes.

Go behind the scenes of the film in the video (above) and watch Whitney perform His Eye Is On The Sparrow in a church scene.

We really did lose a true talent.

Good News! Jason Derulo Is On The Mend! All Thanks To His Girlfriend…

Jordin Sparks!

Yes! He's no longer denying it! He has seen the light … and it only took almost becoming paralyzed to do it!

Three weeks ago, poor Jason Derulo fractured his neck while practicing a stunt for his Future History World Tour. He unfortunately had to cancel said tour due to his injury, but in better news, it sounds like he's recovering quite nicely. In his first interview since the accident, Jason admits the shock he experienced as he heard the bone snap ("I've never broken a bone or anything!"), adding that it "hurt like hell." But the good thing is, he's feeling much better now. He explains:
