Scott Speer was arrested for arson after an alleged domestic dispute with his wife, Michelle McLaughlin.
According to TMZ, last week, cops and firefighters arrived at the Step Up Revolution director’s San Fernando Valley house over an alleged altercation between him and the Playboy Playmate.

Allegedly, the filmmaker was drinking heavily when he got into a fight with his spouse, who allegedly suffered some minor injuries.
Per authorities, the alleged fight came to a head when Speer set fire to a broom with the intention of lighting up the whole house.
Luckily, the flames were extinguished, and the 36-year-old was taken into custody on arson charges. The director may also face domestic violence charges as well.
Speer has since posted his $250k bond, and has been released from custody.
Per their wedding registry on The Knot, Scott and Michelle’s wedding date was set for May 27, 2017 in Santa Rosa, California.
While the director previously dated Ashley Tisdale for two and half years (with their relationship ending in December of 2011), the model was previously married to former professional baseball player Frank-Paul Santangelo.
Speer has directed music videos for Paris Hilton, The Veronicas, Aly & AJ, RHOBH star Erika Jayne, Brandi Carlile, Jordin Sparks, Paula Abdul, Blake Shelton, Jason Derulo, Switchfoot, Five Speed, Teddy Geiger, Eric Church, Sanctus Real, Belinda, Alexander Kogan, Luigi Masi, Big Boi, David Archuleta, Jessica Harp, V Factory, Parachute, Charice, and Orianthi.
He also directed 2018’s Midnight Sun with Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzenegger, as well as 2018’s I Still See You with Thorne and Dermot Mulroney.
