Josh Lucas and Jessica Ciencin Henriquez have taken co-parenting to a whole new level!
Despite divorcing in 2014 after three years of marriage, Josh and Jessica have decided to be roomies in NYC so they can better parent their son, Noah.
Wow, the pair must have a deep commitment to their three-year-old!

The pair came up with the non-traditional idea after their hectic schedules made it increasingly difficult to enjoy family time. While Lucas is busy filming The Mysteries of Laura, Henriquez is gearing up to get her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Columbia, which is a VERY tasking program!
An insider said of the unique situation, revealing:
We have our fingers crossed the divorce process for these two will be a tad amicable!
Just a few weeks ago, Josh Lucas and his wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez decided to call off their two-year long marriage and now come the demands.
Jessica just filed legal documents, asking Josh for spousal support, child support, medical and dental coverage, lawyer's fees, AND life insurance.
For reasons unknown, Jess also wants to enforce the two's agreed upon prenup. Does that mean she made out like a bandit in it??
The freelance writer is also asking for joint custody of their 20-month-old, Noah.
At least Josh will still be able to see his son, as long as this is resolved without unnecessary dramz, everything will be just dandy!

Josh Lucas and his wife of two years Jessica Ciencin Henriquez have called off their marriage.
There aren’t many deets except that 28-year-old Henriquez filed for divorce this month, according to a source.
The couple has a son together, Noah Rev, who was born in June 2012.
They met at a dog park in 2011, and everything sounded like a fairy tale leading up to their March 2012 wedding.
Sometimes people just grow apart. It’s sad but true.

The Sweet Home Alabama sweetheart was spotted taking his own sweetie for a stroll in NYC on Sunday.
Little Noah Rev Maurer is starting to develop that same signature smirk as his dad. Just too cool for school!
Of course, right now he's too young for school!
Right now he's still just Rev-ing up for pre-K!

Actor Josh Lucas has said that when it came to picking up ladies his dog, Loki, was his "wingman."
Maybe Loki helped Josh snag his new gal pal, but Josh's puppy love isn't what's making her stick around. Josh said:
"He sleeps in my bed, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend!"
Whaaat? Who doesn't LOVE slumber parties?
But Loki wasn't always a party animal. When the German shepherd mix was rescued from a shelter in Harlem –
"He was deathly ill when I got him. He had no personality, so it's been great to watch him come into his confidence."
Now, the actor's "best friend on the planet" has lots of character.
"Loki is a bit mysterious and enigmatic. He's very charismatic and quite pretty."

It's always nice to see celebrities giving back to the community, but it's even better to see their pets involved!
Actor Josh Lucas and his dog Loki helped Purina donate $1 million in one day to charity during the Purina ONE Beyond $1 Million in One Day event in New York City on Monday.

He may have had romances with Salma Hayek and, most recently, Rachel McAdams, but Josh Lucas is enjoying his single status —but he wouldn’t mind a little help from his dog, Lokey.
Josh reveals how Lokey may help him snag the next lucky lady down the road, explaining, "Lokey seems to like women more than men, and he oftentimes wants to take off with a particularly good-looking woman."
Cute! Your dog is looking out for you!
"He’s helpful, but he’s never actually gotten me a date."
Maybe sometime in the future he will!
Lucas is thankful he has Lokey as a companion, he just wants him to figure out how to attract the ladies, "He’s not a good wingman yet," Lucas said. "I'm single, so Lokey better get on it! I really want [his] help right now.”
We love hearing when an owner has such a strong bond with their pet - even if it means using them to try and find you a girlfriend! LOLz
Good luck Josh!
