American Idol needs serious help! More importantly, it needs some judges!
While we’d love nothing more than to see Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson reunite — we can dream a little, can’t we? — it seems Fox and the show’s production companies are looking to bring former Idol contestants to the judging panel.
Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson have reportedly been contacted, while Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken remain at the top of the list.
Contestant Angie Miller spoke out about this potential plan and said:
Pink has taken a lot of flack for having to cancel a concert this week.
But there's at least one fan who has her back- Kelly Clarkson!
The Since U Been Gone singer used sarcasm to point out how ridiculous some fans' expectations apparently were. She wrote:
Awww, happy belated birthday Kelly Clarkson!!!
Ms. Clarkson was certainly feelin’ the love from fiance, Brandon Blackstock, on her 31st birthday!
She tweeted two of the most ADORBS tweets we could have ever imagined on her special day, and we couldn’t be happier for her!!
Sharing the love with her millions of followers, she tweeted:

It’s carazay to think that Kelly first graced this stage over ten years ago, but this lady has only gotten better with time! And she continues to hit notes we only wish we could.

Fortunately, the peculiar dots that decorated the songstress' face on Tuesday— with the company of fiance Brandon Blackstock—were just for her new music video for People Like Us.
As she got her creative makeup down, Kelly tweeted:

And let us remind you that the American Idol alum has actually PERFORMED on VH1 Divas Live…THRICE!
Regardless, it appears that shoving her into the "special guest" category in all of the concerts' promotional materials wasn't enough for the Maroon 5 frontman and Voice coach, as it apparently costs a whopping $500 for fans to secure themselves a VIP package to the show!
And even then, you STILL don't get to meet the band!
