We met up with one of our faves on Thursday!

The gorgeous and talented Leona Lewis is in Los Angeles.

The X Factor champ is performing at music mogul Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party this weekend.

We met up with the Bleeding Love singer at her rehearsal and caught up a bit. Leona told us to expect something juicy at the Brit Awards, for which she received four nominations. We will be there in person later this month, and we can't wait.

But until then…..

We have a release date!

One of the biggest selling artists of 2007 in the U.K., Leona Lewis, is set to release her debut album, Spirit, in America on April 8th.

The singer is currently busy in the studio, PerezHilton.com has learned, recording two brand new songs for the U.S. release of - Forgive Me by singer/producer Akon and Misses Glass from the cutting edge producer/writers Madd Scientist and Rock City.

Additionally, the X Factor champ has re-recorded the video for her smash single, Bleeding Love.

Shot by acclaimed video director Jessy Terrero, the new U.S. video will premiere in early February.

Leona's Bleeding Love is now available for sale on iTunes.

Miz Lewis is up for four Brit Awards next month, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys, and Perez will be in London for the big show. Can't wait to see her and be back in our favoritest city in the world!!!

The Brit Awards nominations were announced on Monday and two of our favorites lead the field!

Both Leona Lewis and Mika received a whopping four nods each.

Kate Nash got three nominations, and Kylie Minogue scored two nods.

Mutya Buena and her former bandmates, the Sugababes, are both up for best single.

Should be a very exciting night!

Congrats to all!!!!

Leona Lewis is on the cover of the February issue of Harper's U.K. And she looks gor-geous!

The X-Factor champ's debut album, Spirit, was one of the top three selling albums of the year in the U.K. for 2007, alongside two of our other faves: Mika and Amy Winehouse

Her album is finally coming out in a few months in the U.S.!!!

"She’ll break the States without breaking a sweat," says Harper's.

His name is Lou Al Chamaa. He's 23. An electrician. From East London. And he's been dating the X-Factor champ for years and years.

The pair have sneaked away for a romantical vacation and to ring in the New Year in the Caribbean.

The lovely and talented Miz Leona Lewis was spotted leaving Selfridges department store in London on Wednesday.

The X Factor champ took advantage of the Boxing Day sales.

Her album continued to rule the U.K charts, but the Christmas #1 single this year belonged to….current X Factor champ Leon Jackson.

Leona Lewis' s Bleeding Love was the #1 song in the U.K. when the singles charts were announced on Sunday.

The song has been #1 now for seven weeks!

The X-Factor champion's debut CD, Spirit, is also #1 - a spot it's claimed for the last four weeks.

Bleeding Love faced some stiff competition entering the holiday season.

It's official!

The numbers are in and Leona Lewis' debut record, Spirit, is the #1 album in the U.K. this week.

Spirit broke records on its way to the top!

The album has become the UK’s fastest-selling debut album of all time. The previous record was set by the Arctic Monkeys, who sold 363,735 copies of Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not in January 2006.

This week Spirit sold a phenomenal 375,872 copies.

Leona was up against the Spice Girls, Led Zeppelin and Celine Dion. Spirit beat the number two album, by the Spice Girls, by a staggering 300,085 copies!!!!

Lewis' current single, Bleeding Love, is also #1 this week - for a fourth consecutive week. So far it has sold an incredible 563,702 copies in just 4 weeks, beating the previous record set by Mika with Grace Kelly.

Spirit is now scheduled for release in the U.S. on March 18th. Yay!
