One Night In Toronto

81584726_10.jpg

We had SUCH a great time in Canada on Sunday!

There were so many awesome moments, but the coolest had to be the opportunity to have our own party.

The lovely and talented Melanie C. (above) came out to kick it with us and the boys from Simple Plan killed it with their super-energetic performance.

It was the perfect way to bring to an end an almost perfect evening - minus the rain.

There's so many people we'd like to thank, who helped make our big soiree possible. Much appreciation to CK One and everyone at Coty, Simple Plan, Evian, MAC Cosmetics, Rich Prosseco, DJ Jesse Marco, Revival, Lollicakes, STRUT Entertainment, and Bruce & Brian and everyone else at BMF Media.

The MuchMusic Video Awards, as always, were a blast!

We had the very special opportunity to present Rihanna with her award, for most watched video on MuchMusic.com.

Princess RiRi left us an umbrella in our dressing room from her new collection, and we're sure she hand delivered it herself and no one else got one!

We met Joey Mac and the rest of the New Kids on the Block, who, sources tell us had some drama with Rainn Wilson.

No one would tell us exactly what happened but there appeared to be some "drama" that went down between them backstage.

By all accounts, The Office star, Wilson, was being quite difficult.

Sources tell us he was supposed to introduce the Jabbawockeez, winners of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. However, he refused to do that because he didn't know who they were and thought it was "beneath him."

Wait, who is Rainn Wilson again????

We did get to briefly say hi to Chace Crawford - swoon - and we met Jesse McCartney, who was feeling that video we made of his song.

Overall, we had such a great time. We love being on MOD every week - live from Hollywood - and we truly love coming to the MuchMusic Video Awards every year.

It's like a family reunion!

Oh, and this year, our family wasn't talking as much shit.

The Canadian Press association wrote that "Presenters included a noticeably slimmed-down Perez Hilton, the celebrity gossip blogger."

Too hot!!!

And, CTV wrote, "Gossip guru Perez Hilton stole the show with a slate suit punched up with a pink shirt and striped tie. Add in his pink lipstick, rosy blush, mascara and slick hair and Hilton almost topped Rihanna for the night's prettiest look."

Too hot to handle!!!!

Thank you!

Thank you Toronto!

Thank you Canada!

Thank you world!

xoxo

P.S. Yup, Perez wore a different outfit and had completely diff hair and makeup for the awards show, cuz he's diva like that!

Time for Mel C.

melaniec__opt.jpg

Spice Girl Mel C's wonderful new album, This Time, is being released in North America this April, and she's doing it on her own imprint, Red Girl.

Sporty is not only an artist…she's a business woman, too!

She states, "And (after) having experience with a major label, it was nice to be able to do the exact opposite and own the copyright to my songs," she continues. "I was very fortunate with the Spice Girls; financially, I was able to set up my own label and finance my own record."

Mel C. call's the style of This Time "mature pop." The first single off the album will be Carolyna which tells the story of a young runaway.

Love that song. Love this album.

Good for Mel!

Plus, exciting news for Sporty fans: she's planning to tour in the U.S. and Canada in support of the album's release!

Going Out With a BANG

Melanie C. surprised her fellow Spice Girls at their final reunion concert last night.

The artists also known as Sporty dusted off her old backflip and tumbled for the ladies, which she hadn't done all tour long.

Not bad for 34!

Their Goodbye Message

offers-47-23-11302007__opt.jpg

The Spice Girls ended their massively successful reunion tour last night. But, before they're gone for good (or just a while), the ladies have these parting words for their fans.

Emma, Geri, Mel. B., Melanie C. and Victoria just posed the following farewell on their official blog:

"Hello…

Our time is up… we've come to the end of the road… there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we've come!

Who would have thought that our reunion could have turned out to be this amazing? It just shows what can grow out of an exciting thought, an idea, a hope, a dream. Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.

We have been lucky enough to have shared it with the most loyal fans in the world. Ten years on, you came back still wanting more… and it looks like we made some new friends along the way. You have inspired and ignited us with each show, the 47 that we performed, each time was amazing and it is thanks to you.

So we look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.

We have learnt so much through you and through each other.

"Never give up on the good times always believe in the love you find."

We hate goodbyes but sadly the time has come to take our final bow so maybe our song says it best:

"Goodbye my friend, it's not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… "

Mission Accomplished…

Love

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria

You're Shit Out Of Luck

If you didn't catch the Spice Girls reunion tour during the majority of their dates in the UK or the U.S., then you're fucked!

Though they had promised to go to Asia, South America, Australia and other places, the ladies have now officially announced that they will be ending their run after their last shows in the U.S. this month.

Bummer!

TheSpiceGirls.com says:

01 February 2008
IMPORTANT TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!

The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”
