ABC has renewedShaq Vs., the reality show starring NBA star Shaquille O'Neal competing against other athletes in their respective competitive fields, for its summer line-up.
In the first season Shaq took on Misty May-Treanor, Oscar de la Hoya and Michael Phelps among others and despite being given a handicap advantage, he lost every single competition.
Next season could feature the basketball player in non-sports competitions like spelling bees and competitive eating, but the producers say that the show will still mostly revolve around sports.
This past weekend, the lovely Nicole Johnson was crowned Miss California USA 2010.
As as you've probably heard by now, Johnson is said to have been dating Michael Phelps for about a year back in 2007.
Though what you didn't know, until right now, is that Phelps and Johnson broke up because of Carrie Prejean!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that "Nicole Johnson dated Michael Phelps for a year during 2007 -2008. The main reason they ended their relationship is because Carrie Prejean started dating Michael…. and bragging about it while he was still with Nicole."
Whore! And that term also applies to Phelps.
No one cares to hear how Prejean will spin this, but does Phelps have anything he'd like to deny comment on?
Michael Phelps came in second place in the 200 meter medley at the Short Course World Cup in Sweden, losing by 2 seconds! He also didn't qualify for the 100 butterfly final - his big event!

Phelps downed a beer an hour and 15 minutes before the accident occurred, he admitted to police!
Baltimore police have ruled out the booze as the cause for the accident because Fishy showed "no signs of alcohol impairment."
Although the other driver, Amanda E. Virkus, was at fault for the collision (she ran a red light), do U think the beer may have had an impact on Phelps' reaction time????
INTERESTINGLY enough, police did not administer Phelps any sobriety tests.
Even though Baltimore police aren't placing the blame on Michael Phelps for Thursday night's car accident in Baltimore, Phelps has been issued a citation!
The Olympic swimmer was driving with an invalid license!!!!
Dumb!
Although the citation doesn't carry a fine, Fishy Phelps will still have to show up in court and explain to the judge why he doesn't have a valid Maryland license.
Luckily, no one involved was seriously injured. Eyewitnesses had originally blamed Phelps, saying he was speeding and ran a red light. But Phelps just caught a lucky break.
Turns out the cops are putting the blame on the other driver involved in the crash, stating that the woman driving a Honda Accord was the one who sped through a red light and crashed into Phelps.
As for Phelps, who pleaded guilty to driving drunk back in 2004, he was not given a Breathalyzer test this time.
The department's chief spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, revealed, "There was no need. He was completely coherent. He was cooperating with police. We have a witness statement as to what occurred. We knew it was going to make national news and everyone was going to watching this and every news agency was going to be hiring their best accident investigators and we wanted our best on it."
As for the female driver, she was described as shaken up, but after being treated at a nearby hospital she was released and is said to have suffered neck and arm injuries.
We give it a matter of time before she speaks out publicly about the whole ordeal. Wonder if she'll deny the reports and blame Phelps?
The good news is that it doesn't appear that there were any serious injuries involved.
The bad news? He got himself into trouble again!

Sources tell us that his Escalade was smashed up and he was seen talking to police - barefoot! - on the corner of Biddle St. & Calvert St.
It appears that fishy Phelps hit the car in front of him as he was driving.
And, after the accident, "gawkers started snapping pics of Michael and the car crash and he started freaking out on them, ordering them to delete the photos!"

AND, according to eyewitnesses, he was speeding at over 50 mph!
