Rockefeller Plaza is going to rock this summer!

The Today Show has just announced their line-up of artists for this summer's concert series. Everyone from Rihanna to Bruno Mars to Enrique Iglesias will be performing, so if you've got a Friday morning free, starting May 27th, and you live in New York, you should most definitely try and catch one of these shows. If not - hello TIVO!

Joey McIntyre from New Kids On The Block, now NKOTBSB, is taking a break from the group to film a guest-spot on the USA Network series, Psych. He's been cast as a "buff new officer" who shows up with a "mysterious secret."

Well, buff he most certainly is! HA!

Congratz, Joey! Hopefully this will be a lot of fun for you!

As we previously announced, New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys have teamed up to create one, mega-boyband for a compilation album that will also feature the supergroup performing original material all together, called NKOTBSB and set to be released May 24th!

Due to an outpour of support from fans, the guys decided to start up a ten-day "Help Make The Album" campaign, which invited listeners to vote for their favorite old tracks from both groups for inclusion on the collaboration - and the WINNERS are in!

It was officially announced this morning that American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will be touring with the boys of New Kids on The Block and the Backstreet Boys as they join forces and become NKOTBSB for the summer.

Apparently, Jordin has been holding out on us as she revealed on her Twitter she's known for awhile that she had this opportunity and didn't tell anyone! She tweeted:

SUPER EXCITED 2 be on @NKOTBSB tour! Ive been wanting 2 let you know since I found out! I know we have die hard fans coming!! You ready?? :D

We're ready! This sounds like a 90s teeny-boopers dream!

If we close our eyes, we think we can start to hear the shrill screams of women 23-35 recapturing their youth! LOLZ!

So, you probably already have your tickets to see NKOTBSB this summer. You know, the joint tour between with the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block. It's going to be epic.

Well, the Boys and the Kids are taking things to a new level as they've just announced they are heading into the studio to record their first single as a mega-group. No, this won't be a mashup of their hits like previous performances. This will be a brand-new, totally awesome, wicked harmonious collection of sounds from all 28 9 of the guys!

Oh, but that is only the beginning. The first single, Don't Turn Out The Lights, will premiere soon, but shortly after that, a FULL ALBUM will be released with SEVERAL new songs from all the guys! Look for that, aptly titled NKOTBSB, to drop on….May 24th!

If you are crazy hardcore about New Kids On The Block/ Backstreet Boys, you might want to pre-order their CD from their website. Then, you might just seen your named printed on the CD package, along with a select few other lucky fans!
