We feel like every time Ricky comes up in the news, it's because he's saving animals, the environment or the world.
Ricky really makes a difference because he has a seriously large audience!
With his over 5 million twitter followers, Ricky has one hell of a soapbox to stand on!
We're pretty sure PETA has always wanted Duck Dynasty off the air, mostly because of the fact they made their millions making duck calls that have tricked untold amounts of ducks into their own slaughter. This whole anti-gay and racism thing just happens to be the perfect opportunity for PETA to go on the offensive!
Here's what they said about Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ:
It looks like Leonardo DiCaprio has some SERIOUS explaining to do!
The actor has recently come under fire after PETA criticized his decision to work with a chimpanzee in the upcoming film The Wolf Of Wall Street!
In what appears to be a harmless clip (in the GIF above), Leo can be seen holding a particularly stylish monkey who for some reason is wearing a pair of roller skates. (Siiiiigh.)
Well, the organization claims that the monkey was provided the Rosaire family who are allegedly known to
For Jay's 44th birthday, the couple has decided to embark on a 22-day vegan challenge.
They plan on eating a fully plant-based diet for 22 days and then seeing how they feel from there.
It's always hard to win favor with PETA but this is definitely a start for the power couple.
Chilli, one third of multiplatinum music trio TLC, loves animals and is doing her part to save them!
Not only did she just rock it out last night at the AMAs with T-Boz and Lil Mama with their tribute to the late Left Eye, but now, she's starring in a new ad campaign by PETA demanding people "Boycott the Circus."
The ad features her stripped nude, covered in body paint, making her look like a tiger, trapped in a cage.
The ad reads:
Kellan Lutz is so hunky, strong, caring, hunky, talented and hunky.
He also cares about animals that most people wouldn't think need a champion.
After seeing a video of a slaughterhouse in Maine shelling lobsters while they're still alive, Kellen knew something had to be done.
So he penned an open letter to the Linda Bean factory, writing:
"I’m not a vegetarian, but I know cruelty when I see it. I watched as conscious lobsters were torn apart by your employees, who then threw them into dumpsters to die slowly and painfully, treating them as if they were trash rather than living beings."
Kellen, along with PETA, is calling for the slaughterhouse to consider a more humane system, giving the creatures a quick, painless death.
It's the least we can do for them!
Check out the undercover video AFTER THE JUMP!! but BEWARE it is GRAPHIC!
Anya Hindmarch, British fashion accessory store, has come under fire by PETA.
The animal rights organization is upset over the store's Bond Street location in the UK and their use of dead ducklings!
A storefront window display has five taxidermied ducklings in a row. Awww… cute/sadsies!
PETA, not only upset at the sight of dead animals, has long criticized the brand's use of python and other animal skins in their products.
