The saga continues!
Now it's the Weinsteins doing the legal filing!
Last month, a judge ruled in favor of Bravo and blocked Lifetime from airing any new episodes of Project Runway until some legal stuff was figured out.
Then, not to be out done, on Friday, the Weinsteins hit Bravo with a lawsuit that basically claimed that the channel did stuff to hurt the show's brand and value, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Some of the shady things that Bravo supposedly did include, 'running a small number of ads, creating mundane and unappealing ads, providing little information for the press about the season premiere, and revealing spoilers about future episodes.'
The Weinsteins also say that when Bravo 'began to suspect that the show might move to a rival network, it created "copycat shows" based on the "Runway" format.'
By the time the courts sort through all the issues we may not even care about the show anymore!
Poor Heidi and Tim!

On Friday, Project Runway's Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum got a good taste of the bitter, ongoing reality-centric labor disputes between the media moguls and the WGA.
Tim and Heidi were filming scenes for the new season on Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive and here's what the Project Runway crew had to deal with according to an eyewitness:
This morning, about 10:45am, I was returning some clothes to the Michael Kors store on Rodeo Drive when I had to cross a big picket line of shouting strikers (all male writers, WGA posters and banners) protesting "Project Runway." They had pulled the fire alarm on the nearby Valentino store also, adding to the noise of their shouting. I walked past them and the two security guards and went to enter the store, and upon opening the front door was startled to see Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum staring at me! They were obviously shooting a segment for the upcoming season, as there were lights and baffling filling the entire showroom. I quickly shut the door and ended up giving my good [sic] to a saleswoman who cam [sic] around from the back. There was a huge crowd watching all of this and taking pictures. I don't know how they are going to edit this as I'm certain the yelling and commotion could be heard inside the store.
Gosh, PR's move from Bravo to Lifetime seems a little cursed to us!

What a blow to the Weinsteins!
The never-ending Project Runway drama took a crazy turn on Friday afternoon.
A New York judge granted the parent company (NBC Universal) of Runway's 'old' home (Bravo) a preliminary injunction which bars the Weinstein Co. from moving the fashiony show to its 'new' home Lifetime for now.
Hope the Weinstiens haven't spent that big pile of cash that Lifetime forked over!
The show was supposed to premiere on Lifetime in January, but with this new ruling, who knows if that will happen!
But, the judge's ruling also bars the NBC people from airing the show on Bravo while the squabbling goes on.
A statement issued by NBC said: “The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that The Weinstein Company violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of ‘Project Runway'. After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting The Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime.”
The Weinstein Co. said on Friday it will appeal the injunction.

Bravo's getting F-listed again!
There's a rumor that Kathy Griffin might be taking her Emmy-winning show My Life on the D-list from Bravo to Lifetime. Lots of green is supposedly being flashed her way.
Dayum!
Lifetime stole Heidi Klum and Project Runway a few months ago, and now Kathy G.?
Must be nice to have deep pockets, Lifetime!
Who knew that the cougar channel could be so ruthless?

Project Runway insiders snitched to PerezHilton.com that Jennifer Lopez was tapped to be the guest judge in the finale/runway competition on Friday, but just bailed on the show - supposedly blaming her absence on of a foot injury.
Contestant 'mentor' Tim Gunn had to pinch hit for the team and fill in for J. Lo.
We don't understand how a foot injury could keep her from assessing fashion designs!
Unless, J. Lo's foot is somehow connected to her brain activity!

Looks like Bravo might have found something to fill the hole Project Runway will be leaving when it heads off to Lifetime next year!
The network has picked up Sarah Jessica Parker's rip off of Project Runway.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it's a show that would feature aspiring artists producing various styles of artwork (painting, sculpting, etc.), which is then judged by a panel of experts.
Does SJP even know anything about art?
The Runway copy cat sounds boring to us.
