For his July 27th drunk driving incident, Shia LeBeouf will not be receiving the customary celebrity 24 hours in jail.

He's not even going to court!

Prosecutors have decided not to press charges against the Transformers star.

He may, however, lose his license for 9 months, because LaDouche refused the breathalyzer.

That's not even a year!

Prosecutors say there is not enough evidence to prove that Shia was under the influence, causing the Sunday morning crash in West Hollywood that crushed his left hand and sent him to the hospital for several days. He was arrested for showing physical signs of impairment.

He does, however, have a date with the DMV, which, come to think of it, might be even worse than jail.

We guess it's a lucky break for Shia, but the Indiana Jones cutie better just call a cab next time and set a good example for all the kiddies!

It's back to the surgery room for Shia LaBeouf.

The Transformers star was involved in a late night car crash earlier this summer, which was finally determined to be caused by another driver running a red light - though Shia was drunk driving.

The crash sent him to the hospital.

When he left, he did so with a cast on his left hand. And now, it looks like his hand might need some more surgery.

In a recent interview, LaBeouf says, “I’m working right now. We propped [my hand] together so I could get through ‘Transformers’ and then I’ll go have another surgery and be back to 100 percent.”

Shia is currently promoting his new flick, Eagle Eye. The movie comes out September 26th.

LaBeouf also admits that his hand was worse than what was originally reported.

Shia adds that his fingers are "good", but just "broken."

As for the accident causing delays while he was filming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Shia was very vague about that.

He did say about director Michael Bay that, “He plows through. I think we had a day down, two days down, and then we got back to some second unit stuff that we had to get anyways, and I was back two or three weeks before anybody projected me coming back.”

Let's hope Shia's late nights of drinking are over as well.

And after he's done with all his surgeries and rehabilitation, he should be thankful it was only his hand that was injured.

It could have been a lot worse!

It's cougar mania in Hollywoodland!

Shia LeBeouf recently admitted that he's always had the hots for ABC's Diane Sawyer.

"She just does it for me," the Transformers star says of the veteran journalist.

Diane is about 40 years older than young Shia!

We can totally see Diane's appeal, though.

She's smart, super pretty and her newscaster purrr is zexy!

Shia LaBeouf's getting a little help from his big-wig friends!

One of the guys who co-wrote Transformers 2, Roberto Orci, reveals that Shia's hand injury has become part of the movie out of concern for the actor's safety as the production continues:

"Shia just got back to the set last week. We incorporated his injury into it. Not because it was absolutely necessary, but [director] Michael [Bay] in particular wanted to be able to protect him on the set. He's still going to be running around in this movie. [Bay] literally just wanted, for [LaBeouf's] safety, … to make sure that we weren't playing around with his injury. … That's why we put it in."

It better not suck!

Shia LaBeouf returned to the set of Transformers 2 on Thursday for the first time in weeks.

The bad boy actor had been recuperating from extensive surgery on his hand, a result of the car crash he was in while drunk driving.

While not fully healed yet, LaBeaouf's injury was written into the script of Transformers 2.

Enough time and money has been lost already as a result of his foolishness.

Back to work now!

Finally, someone got cited in the much talked about crash involving Shia LaBeouf and some chick Adrian Grenier was dating.

The owner of the car that crashed with LaBeouf and the girl has been cited.

It all happened when the other car failed to stop at a red light.

The accident caused the drunk LaBeouf to flip over his truck in West Hollywood.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the car is owned by 21 year-old Simon Herbert.

Thankfully everyone made it out alive.

2007 Teen Choice Award winner Shia LeBeouf is itching to hit London's West End.

Why?

In a recent interview he reveals, "I figure people may take me seriously as an actor after that — I need to prove myself."

No surprise here!

Adrian Grenier and his girlfriend Isabel Lucas are done, it was announced Tuesday.

They pair split up right after the accident Lucas was in with her Transformers 2 co-star Shia LaBeouf.

A source said: "It wasn't working out. Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it – the crash, their hanging out. He obviously didn't appreciate it."

What an understatement. Adrian must have been pissed!

The accident happened at about 3 am in the morning. We're guessing they were headed to someone's pad to do some sexy time!

Isabel's wasted no time moping over Adrian, though. She and Shia have been "hanging out" again!

Shia LaBeouf is still recuperating from the extensive surgery he had on his hand after his drunk driving car wreck.

Though he hasn't returned to work yet, on Monday he was spotted with his Transformers 2 co-star Isabel Lucas, who was his passenger at the time of his crash.

Lucas is currently dating Entourage star Adrien Grenier.

How does he feel about his girl spending so much time with Shia???
